With all the problems and hype atm with the new patch, it would be nice to hear from you maybe a small message stating what you are doing, maybe to calm down players that throw the towel in too early. I understand it must be a real pain to be getting all these messages right after a patch, but a kind work would be nice. And please, not an automated one. Just grab a coffee, sit at your keyboard and begin...Dear players,

A good idea you have here

But i think they need now more that just a message...
Starting by having the same communication between communities would be appreciate (at the moment it's just anormal to have sometimes 2 differents answers depending from wich support team you ask)

And sorry for my EN

They are too busy for us, we are only the customers and they already have our money... they are probably looking for ways to ninja nerf the game some more.

Oh and before some tries to say I am trolling or not showing respect, it is important in life to know that respect is earned, as is disrespect. They have earned disrespect.

the real reason they are not saying anything is because they don't know what to say much less how to maintain this game... its really obvious when they release vr10+ content and the majority (not all but quite a lot) of people who can use it are the ones who used the pvp exploit.. for the rest of the players, we are now dealing with VR mobs being way stronger then they should be as well as half our abilities not working, and those which do work get nerfed...

They got out money and now I think they are deliberately trying to get us to quit.

Corporate ways of working, keep everything a secret, never tell something that could scare "The Customers" away.

I have been waiting all day, for around 12 hours now to get a simple question answered:
    http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/100472/removed-acheivements/p1
Yes, they stated it was cosmetic and 2 weeks could go by fixing it, but no way I will be logging in to a broken game just to be rolled back or screwed achievement wise.

So yes, tthe Silence is deafening!
The picture on the wall is chaotic.
I don't want to look at it, but when I do,
I cannot speak because of the confusion in my head!

Well the corporate way of working is just going to make people take their money elsewhere.

As mentioned in that thread, the missing achievements is strictly a visual UI error and all your data still exists. You can still continue to play and gain achievements, and the visual error to the current achievements will be fixed soon.

We understand it's sometimes difficult to pinpoint a response from a staff member since the forum is pretty active, but we do encourage you to check out the Dev Tracker (on the right side of the page in the menu) if you're looking for an answer to something specific.

Then maybe you should change the layout of this Dev Tracker, returning to the more usual forum view, instead of this "tile" view.
So we can see at a glance the update time of the threads/messages, mark them as read, see the new/updated ones, etc...

And also split the tracker by language, as seeing official communications three times is not very useful, and with huge posts (release notes or with plenty of quotes) in this tile view it's even harder to find stuff you have not read yet.

/edit : at least it's what i think, so maybe give us the option to customize the Dev tracker (and rest of the forum?) display settings.

I agree with you that the dev-tracker should be single language limited to clear up what is posted. Also indeed the way of displaying isn't too practical. It's hard to tell currently what topic a staff post was about, unless you go to the topic. In the current situation it's more of a random collection of staff posts then a real tracker. I'm really missing a proper way to see exact context of the posts.

Its not Gina or Jessica etc., its more the internal Zenimax policies regarding communication that does not allow staff to communicate severe problems to public before proposal by several managers.

Otherwise Vet content and Mem leak issues would not have taken a full day for public communication or updating known issues to inform customers.

Community managers are in the same situation like players. They know something but need to wait for confirmation. And this is really bad.

Here is what you do..take all the canned response emails you've gotten, remove any identifying account information, put together a nice little package, and fire it off to every game reviewer, magazine, and online site that you can. I'm sure they were happy to see the google results starting to pop up positive about their new content release. Get a couple interested sites to start looking at the billing issues still ongoing, the login issues, the crash issues, and everything else. If when you do a search for eso news and the first 10 results are reality of what is happening in game again maybe they will start trying to save their jobs before the real world nerf bat swings towards their car and house payment in 6 months.

Whoever decided that a tile-based design was a great idea for use with chronological, text-based information needs to be smacked upside the head. And don't even get me started with mixing three languages together on one page.

There's a reason every other MMO forum does things a specific way--because it works. I don't know if your web team was clueless or just trying to be different, but they failed pretty hard on the forums.

Sadly the review sites have seen it all, they have already bashed the game to death. At first I thought it was undeserved, now I know it was right on the mark.

A good game ruined by lousy support and implementation. This one actually made me a little sad, more because im not sure they could win me back now.

Have a 3 month sub, cant see me continuing it so will continue to play to v10 so at least I will have seen that and continue to hope they have a major shake up and do something.

The boss of the game said in his address that he didnt agree with the criticism, I hope he is waking up now and crushing some heads or the only thing hes gonna agree with is that its time to go F2P, although with this quality im not sure thats even likely to succeed.

Just split the forums by language - I don't need to see forums and threads in French or German, and I am sure French and German speakers feel similar about having to trawl through posts and an awkward forum layout in order to get to a conversation they can join in with in their native language. (And to give credit, I am sure that more French and German speakers are able to converse in English than vice versa, but the bad layout must be just as annoying for them).

Here's a suggestion for forum layout. Have 3 tabs at the top of the screen - English, French, and German. Click on one of those tabs, and you get only the forums and threads in your chosen language. Problem solved.

GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

We're working on a new format now that will show the Dev Tracker as a list instead of a tiled view.
