Nothing to Spend Trade Bars On

I hear they used to be a lot easier to get before the tome update?

I'd have to go with "ehhh" on that. Daily endeavors were either 10 or 15 seals for up to three endeavors. Log in every day and do those endeavors and you'd end up with between 900 and 1350 seals per month. I don't recall those endpoints ever happening, however, but 1100-1200 seals per month was usual if you logged in every day to get them.

Tack onto that one weekly endeavor, usually paying about 250 seals but sometimes more, and you're up close to 2400 per month. Times three months is 7200 seals.

Login rewards happened as they happened. It wasn't something you could count on during any given month, but it did happen occasionally. I don't recall them ever being at the end of the month, but if you were logging in for the dailies anyway, you'd have picked them up whenever they dropped.

The Tomes have 8K seals on the free tier both for Season Zero and Season One. You're getting roughly 800 more seals than you'd get with the daily and weekly endeavors, but probably closer to equal to what you'd get with counting login rewards over a similar three-month period. Tome points aren't tied to logins except for the one seasonal challenge that gives 15 points per login (17 for ESO Plus). So, "easier" probably goes to Tomes as long as you're knocking out 18K worth of the weekly and seasonal challenges (no seals on the Bonus Pages which unlock at 20K). But it's a long dry spell between new Tomes and you just have to budget/plan accordingly.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I'm in the same boat, I already have everything except the consumables. But I'm happy to have more trade bars than I can spend after years of tickets that I had to spend!

I'm guessing the crate stuff being added is mostly for us long term players to have something to spend spares on

Except as long term players, many of us through some means or another have already gotten most of the chase items from these crates.

Though, honestly, i like the direction its headed with moving crown crate items to the Bazaar. But... well... kinda need it to go a bit faster.

I wish there were more items for equally old and new players :( So far Bazaar is mostly making me sad, everything seems to favor new players (I had almost every item which was offered at the Bazaar, and Nix-Ox War Steed for buying Vvardenfell chapter in 2017 is now offered to everyone)...
The only good exception is some skill style recolors which are Bazaar-exclusive, so they are new items for everyone and won't make anyone sad :)

And for an old player who bought hundreds of Frost Atronach crates over past years, seeing them offered in Bazaar would be not exciting at all, to put it mildly:

And offering items from all other crown crate seasons, including current one, would be of no interest for me - I've collected everything I liked in every season already :( Old players like me are not getting almost any joy from Bazaar so far.

If I could get Seals of Endeavors from Bazaar for every item I already own, that would be at least something exciting to look forward to.
