I don't see Warden refresh mentioned in the article.
Thought this would have been last stream before U51 PTS.
Guess there will be another one in the coming days?

Dear ZOS team,
While we always appreciate your streams and realise that the timing must be set around a number of different employees' schedules, could you please take care in future to avoid the weekly Guild Trader flip? Today's stream clashes perfectly with Guild Trader flip on NA servers, which is every Tuesday at 19:00 UTC (2pm EST or 3pm EDT).
Many Guildmasters and Trade Officers try to be in game for the Trader flip every week, so that if they do miss out on their bids, they can hastily try to find an open Guild Trader. Those of you who attended the Guild Summit last year will remember how much responsibility many Guildmasters feel for communicating changes in gameplay to their membership, especially Guilds which actively run prog groups for new Trials.
I would like to request that wherever possible, you consider the regular Guild Trader flip times on EU and NA servers when planning your streams.
Thank you,
~baratron.

"Actively working on cross-play" is not really a good reason to leave consoles behind, again.

So antiquity will be free for all, but the leads will still drop/ have to dig in places that aren't part of the base game? Isn't that a bit mean?

This isn't really a PC/console thing. It's a mouse/gamepad thing, since this thing won't work with gamepad on PC.
UI movement is WAY, WAY easier with a mouse than it is with a gamepad. Dragging something around with a mouse has existed in the base game since launch, while "dragging something around" doesn't even exist as a concept for gamepad. Yes, addon authors have gotten around that, but it requires writing a bunch of code to simulate the experience of dragging stuff around with a mouse, and even then it's still not as good of an experience as what you get with mouse (I know, because I wrote the library that KFS uses to do its gamepad UI movement).
The simple fact of the matter is that there is a large difficulty gap between getting this to work on mouse and getting this to work on gamepad, and the latter would require a lot more time investment than the former. So they could either delay the mouse version of this feature (so nothing for any platform in U51) until they get it working for gamepad too, or they could release the mouse version and get feedback on it. They made the right choice here.
watch the stream again. Kira says it does work with controller on PC.

Thanks for this link. I'm glad to be able to watch this bit of the stream again without searching for it.watch the stream again. Kira says it does work with controller on PC.

I have LITERALLY run some dungeons 40/50/100+ times to get a lead ONCE (yes I counted). It never happened. Ended up having to buy the leads from a vendor, grinding out special currencies in 1 week.
Currently spending 10M in gold on Solstice Treasure Maps for 3rd set of leads ( about 150 Solstice Maps).
I think having to run 15 PERFECT heists to get 1 LEAD (the FIRST time) or open 40+ thieves troves for 1 lead is RIDICULOUS.
Even if the drop rate on leads is "improved" to running dungeons 20x for ONE lead, or 1 week of perfect heists or 10 Treasure Maps per lead (instead of 15-25)... that's too much.
I may be online all day, but I'm grinding out gold for my guild and doing guild work. I barely have 1 hour of time per day to devote to other things. But I'm also CP3600 so nothing drops for me ever, anywhere.
Please stop punishing long time players by making everything so hard for us to get. Yes, I know new players need to feel like things are achievable, but long time players feel like we're being encouraged to leave - and with so many new things unable to be purchased, I've just about given up having codex completion anymore. I don't even have ONE copy of the new outfit station yet! Haven't found a SINGLE new furniture plan in Glenumbra!
So, I highly doubt "better" drop rates will make things any better. I'll still be forced to wait for leads to show up at vendors, because I can't spend literally all my time spamming dungeons or fighting for a few thieves troves spawns with all of PCNA.
