    This is still in its testing phase. I'd like to see some fundamental changes before we get to that point. Once there have been more additions and ZOS have more data, I think they should actually reduce the cap from 900 to 360 brining it inline with other campaigns, and have 2 Vengeance. One alliance locked, one open to all.

    If player numbers then grow, ZOS can simply increase the cap. IF the numbers grow. I'm not convinced they will at present.

    People are simple creatures. They follow the crowd. Bringing the caps down to 360 initially, will let people see how popular/unpopular is is compared to normal Cyro.

    Nope, everyone is constant on repeat how Vengeance is for casuals etc. So keep it casual and keep alliance lock away.

    Doesn't matter much anyway cause from reading here and other platforms it seems most people have more than 1 ESO account anyway so it's pointless. Especially since you don't need to grind anything for Vengeance and you can buy a new base game account in a sale for a few euros and start playing Vengeance. People will just relog.

    I´m not a supporter of Vengeance by itself (even though there are a few things I like about it, like how single target heals has to be aimed on the person you want to heal, aka no smart healing) but for the sake of the topic I´ll respond mainly regarding faction lock itself:

    (My take on faction lock goes for any type of faction lock, regardless of campaign)
    If it´s the current version of faction lock where you´re locked out for an entire month then absolutely NO (this goes for any type of faction lock generally speaking since I find it to be horrible to begin with). If Vengeance got reworked to become a 7 day campaign then I see less issues (still have issues with faction lock) with having a faction lock. Ideally if you want some kind of middle ground I´d prefer a 1-2 day lock that prevents you from swapping factions, and if you change faction during a campaign duration you lose out on rewards (like transmutes etc). But a complete lock like current Greyhost, absolutely not. It´s awful in its design and prohibits you from playing with more than one group of friends.

    I rarely see polls so even as this one; 50/50 at 6.10pm.
    I was never bothered by the lack of a faction lock while playing RW, although sometimes I wished there was some kind of a safeguard in place preventing players from changing their alliances multiple times per day.
    Perhaps if this poll were proposing a shorter duration restriction (24 hours), the result would be different.
    But it is interesting to see that faction lock is not as universally preferred as it is sometimes claimed.

    i dont think there would be enough pvp population for 2 vengeances lol

    the population caps in veng are already 360/faction which is 3x that of normal cyro camps

    as for the OP topic, i dont really care much about the faction locks as i only have AD toons lol

    but something that could work is maybe making vengeance a 7 day camp that is faction locked, so it rotates faster

    to be honest i think 30 days for the campaign duration is too long, its not even worth it for the transmutes anymore

    I’m an incurable optimist - I believe Veng can make it to be pop locked, but it would have to be vastly improved first.

    The current caps are 300 per faction.

    And I hope it remains a 30day campaign, it is simply more engaging and competitive when it’s a month-long contest.
