Changing hair color.

You can't change your hair color in the game. You can only spend a whole token to change your appearance, and it's not worth it just for the color alone.
I would like a set of hair dyes (inexpensive), similar to dyes for suits.
Let's see how many people would like the same thing.

Being able to apply a color that is outside of vanilla norms such as to have black hair on a high elf would need to be part of that system.

    Totally necessary.

Or implement barbers to the game/in towns. Maybe for gold or like the Outfit Change Tokens.

In the MMO Rift you are able to change most of your characters' appearance with ingame money. Hair color and styles are two of them. You only need premium currency for BIG character changes.

Does no good in ESO but why should a dead MMO like Rift have better features than a vibrant and robust MMO like ESO?

Yes, please. And personally, I'd like to see a way to change character appearance not tied to Crown Store. Something like The Face Sculptor from TES V, which will provide services with gold or any other non-crown currency like Trade Bars.

I have suggested a hair color pack for the crown store or the ability to change it at will from an interface as an ESO+ perk. And not only race specific, but any color on any race. This needs to happen. I mean, hair dye is a thing even in this world so why limit colors to races?

    No, that's not necessary.
The question in the poll description and the poll options are different, namely one is asking whether we'd like a set of hair dyes and the other is asking if we consider it necessary.

I fully understand that while I have no interest in hair dyes plenty of others would like them - however, I don't consider it necessary, especially in the context of what else in the game needs attention.

This is one of those "feels bad" crown store situations for me. Especially with the long, long reported issue with discrepancies between the character creation screen and in-game visuals. Even if it's some permanent product that we have to buy, fine, but give us something.

I don't think it's "necessary" but I don't think the OP really meant the word in that way. I consider it a quality of life improvement that ZOS could make, allowing players to make small modifications to character's looks that don't require a full appearance change token.

ZOS could limit the changes to those items in the character editor that don't significantly alter the character's design, akin to a barbershop vs. plastic surgery. Don't take "barbershop" literally as that would preclude some character editor features I think would be valid. The choices should still be limited to the current character editor settings and choices, but could include hair style, hair color, eye color, skin color, skin markings, accessories, etc.

The appearance change tokens would still be needed to make significant changes to your character like body and face settings, gender, age, and voice for example.

I would not consider it “necessary”, however, many adornments change color based on hair color. Therefore, to have an outfit match, you might have to change the hair color slightly.

Every time they release a new hair style with a different color (like the purple 'barbarian style' one), I think what a wasted opportunity to just release the color, applicable to any style you want.

Ideally, of course, I would prefer the hairstyle to be what is new and monetized, and any color to be applied and adjustable at the dye station (as @LunaFlora suggested).

Variety is the spice of the game. Don't skimp on it!

As others have pointed out, I'm not sure the word "necessary" truly resonates but I'm answering based on OP's comment of "how many people would like the same thing."

Yes. Please. It's long, long overdue.

It is crazy to me that my character can change their skin color, their hair STYLE, and apply body markings and between those three things, look like a radically different individual, but somehow hair dye, which is something we can realistically do to ourselves, IRL, snagging some dye from the local drug store... THAT requires an appearance token?

It's completely illogical in a magical game world and it drives me crazy. I want to be able to change my hair color to match my outfits. Vary with the seasons. I would never pay real money to do that once, let alone regularly.. but we should be able to do it at the outfit station, applying all available colors for a small amount of gold. In my opinion. It is illogical from a game immersion perspective that we cannot when we can change our skin color and pattern, which is much less realistic, with the click of a button.

I feel like this is especially relevant seeing as ZOS has doubled down on selling cosmetics with the battle pass concept. Being able to change my hair color would make me more interested in obtaining and using cosmetics as I could plan outfits with them without having the issue of them sometimes looking meh with my hair color.

Kinda like how you can buy adornments, hair styles, facial hair, etc packs in the cash shop and swap between them through the Collections menu? I could see them having a 'hair dye' pack that lets you pick from all the normal hair colors accessable in character creation and swap at-will similarly.
