My DK uses a two handed sword. The damage from a two handed sword comes from being hit by the heavy and sharp metal the weapon is made from. Bright red and orange lights do not emanate from this metal. So what is realistic about that?

What I find exaggerated are explosions of light and sound when getting on a mount or recalling... or swinging a sword that has no realistic reason to be flashing. The visuals have been getting increasingly obnoxious for awhile now. Who are they targeting with this?

I would have a hard time identifying dragon knight now without this specific visual and I need to see it 100% because it is part of the dragon knight identity. I have a hard enough time telling a dragon knight apart and it would ruin my immersion and gaming experience to change their identity now. Especially since I can finally know who is a dragon knight.

This just comes off as someone trying so hard to defend the terrible new visuals and afraid they'll be taken away, lol. There is absolutely no way anyone could have a hard time identifying a Drgonknight class before any of these visual changes. There's no reason it would ruin your immersion if you've been here for a decade with no issues before this.

This is how zenimax studios decided dragonknight will be, it is their identity. You can not take class identity away. I understand their reasoning for this change to dragonkight skill line and I support that choice. Not all players will agree, but this is zenimax decision. And I see why, because now you can identify a dragonknight instead of having it blend with other skills and classes. It is 100% their identity.
I'm glad, and I am tired of being confused about class identities. I hope that other classes get equal treatment so that their class identity is BIG and obvious.
It would 100% ruin my immersion completely to have this change made now, after I made new dragonknight characters with actual dragon theme to play into the visual and true real identity of the class.
I will not know who is a dragonknight and who is an other player if it is changed again. So I vote no. And also, to toggle off skill styles for yourself so you can only see the true colors of a skill and true class identity. To make skill styles only for the self.
Again, it is about identity, and staying true to the vision of zenimax studios. This is how they invision it, and what they want for the class.
