given how many people hold the craft bag, the furniture vault and the increase items levels as the reason for ESO+ - i doubt they would put together an ESO+ lite with those aspects - i think it's far more likely something like ESO+ lite would have access to DLCs only - and the addons of craftbag, furniture vault and increased storage values being the perks for the 'normal' ESO+ version.

I feel like a lot of people would sub for that.

If ESO+ is now $15, it would split into something like $10.99 for craft bag only, $14.99 for full ESO+. Next year it would be $11.99 for craft bag, then $12.99. And at the same time full ESO+ would go up a few bucks. And soon the "craft bag only" version is almost the same price as ESO+ now and the full ESO+ would be more expensive.
Just like streaming services have done. The cheapest option is now about the same price as the full HD version was a few years ago. And the full HD version is now more expensive than the 4k version used to be a few years ago.

Streaming services are well known for always increasing prices, but MMOs are not. None of the MMOs I've ever played have ever raised their subscription prices. I don't know why having a tiered subscription system would make ESO suddenly start raising subscription prices on the regular.

We're seeing a lot of stuff in the world of gaming we've never seen before, not to mention the world at large. I'd rather not risk it or give them excuse to myself. I know my opinion means next to nothing, as does everyones, especially where financial decisions are concerned. Who knows. But if we're my decision, I'd be a no.

RuneScape has raised its membership subscription prices multiple times, the most recent one was just a few months ago:
Yep, have to buy all DLCs anyway because the latest one is not in plus.
