Vamp Was/is unbalanced, (havnt been on a few days cause of work, so havnt tested the new patch yet myself) plain and simple. I don't know how people think they can defend something being unbalanced in an MMO, when multiplayer games absolutely require that skills need to be balanced as much as possible. Of course Things will get buffed, and things will get nerfed throughout ESO, and it will have to be adjusted accordingly. It's something an MMO gamer deals with.

another 2 weeks from now people will be threatening to quit and crying over something else being overpowered. I could careless what is/who is overpowered, as long as stuff is getting worked on, and that's exactly what ZOS is doing.

Nope. Zos isnt working on anything. It's like tons of babies are crying for candy and zos just gave a candy to them. It doesnt fix anything. You cant keep giving candies to babies.

    Vamp passive is still bugged.
    Magelight randomly toggles off.
    Nightblade skills are bugged.

The nerf gave vamp skill more bugs.

    They did not fix anything.

How do they work? An hour a day? These bugs already exist since the first beta. Its been a month after the release and look where we are. No progress at all. All we get is an empty promise that it is on patch 1.1 but i dont see any updates regarding that patch at all.

I'm talking about ZOS working on the issue, and i apologize as i could have worded that better. It's a work in progress. New bugs will come, old bugs will resurface, like i said earlier, some can put up with it, others simply cant. But that's how MMO's work, and me being involved with numerous launches and some betas, this isn't anything new to me.

trial and error kind of thing.

This is a ridiculous statement. How many quests were broken at release? A good 20% of them maybe? Now you find hardly any at all. They are definitely making progress.

I'm level 47 and have not dealt with that many bugged quests, nor have i had to grind. How the VR stuff works i have no idea if i will have to or not.

Uh, no. If you're grinding then you have no idea what you're talking about, eh? I do all questing. There are very few quests that are broken and if they are you can fix them by relogging. I have a VR4, a level 40, a level 25 and a level 15 all leveled through questing. .

The vampire skill line in and of itself wasn't OP. It was just the product of broken ultimate cost reduction stacks.

So the skill that wasn't the problem in the first place gets nerfed because it was the skill line being used by the people who were abusing supremely unbalanced stacking reduction.

That's like wrapping a perfectly good hammer in cotton because your fap-hand arm is too strong and you're ruining nails.

What they did was fix a symptom - the problem still remains, it's just a matter of time before the knucklehead cheaters and exploiter's find something else to play with and wreck everybody's week in PvP.

Then you'll all have a new thing to cry over, quit over and demand to be nerfed.

    It's a vicious cycle.

Like your own personal little hell.

Mark my words, your days of complaining are far from over - you'll just have something else to whine about in a few days.

It wasn't even just the cost reduction.

The major problem was the BUGS.

Ulti stacking when it shouldn't have happened and Mist form healing when it shouldn't have happened.

Those were the MOST important factors in the OP build, even more than simple cost reduction stacking.

I'll never know about vampire nerfing as I am only a rank 2 vampyre, so once I get my real gaming laptop back from the shop I'll be able to check out how vampires work in pve vs. pvp. I'm still wondering if the nerf is warranted or is it a case of people not knowing how to adjust tactics to fight vampires. It only took me one time to learn what not to do when fighting a vampire in pvp. I am playing a vamp just for the RP element and not to get an edge in pvp. I do see alot of people blindly rushing in to zerg rush a vampire which is a big no no.

In any case, gameplay balancing is going to be an ongoing process that certainly wont be ironed out anytime soon.

We ( my guild ) quickly learned not to zerg rush a vampire, and to take them down, spread out, from afar. We didnt whine or throw a fit about it tho, we just changed our tactics up. Not saying the complaints arent justified, but there is more than one way to "skin a vampire"

    Imagine that

With any ultimate reduced by 43% of its cost you can end creating an overpowered spec... You people have no idea of the issue you are dealing with

Exactly. The wrong thing was nerfed. They need to prevent certain classes from stacking their ultimate reduction costs and fix Vamp.. more in line as to how it was, some of the changes were unnecessary unless they'd like to remove 50% extra damage from fire, since that is the only extreme number left within Vampirism of ESO.

No it's not! Twilight wasn't a lore breaker who said vamps can't walk in day light!? Some old tale?

Ps: are vamps and WW even real?

    Twilight? seriously???

Most famous and modern vampire legends are based and came from Bram's Stroker novel Dracula. At least dont bring a teenage movies to the Vampire lore, and if you dont like to read go watch the movie Dracula.

And for your information, vampires exist in the animal kingdom, they are a specie of bat that feeds only from other animals blood. And if you dont know, vampire bats are nocturnal, they are only active at night and spend the day time sleeping in dark caves.

But we are in Elder Scrolls game, and we must follow the Elder Scolls lore, and as i said before in other Elder Scrolls games, being a vampire was made to be played only during night time. You would get your health drained if you walked in daylight as a Vampire.

This is not Twilight Online, its ESO, and in veteran zones the citys already look more a Twilight Online then an ELDER SCROLLS Online.

Leeches, mosquitos, ticks, bedbugs, and fleas also subsist entirely on blood. Vampire bats aren't the only animals that do.

You're completely allowed to play the denial game... It's your story, you tell it like you want...

But Vampires were (still are, really) overpowered. I imagine shield bash and DK talons are in the sights for the next patch.

Cant wait for the DK tears, PvP and farm spots are loaded with DKs just spamming talons, bash and standard although as a Templar I really enjoy 1v1ing them because outside of large groups, they aren't to bad to deal with..
