You Nerfed vamp because few people cried about combat tactics?

    Purely thinking out loud on this...

    I think the world skills are intended to offer another play style to the game and that they are not intended to be a must have option to win in PvP or make PvE any easier.. I also heard that we may be expecting more world skills? This will increase the combination of builds available to us.. If the list of world skills continue to grow, so does the many play styles you can choose from that may better fit how YOU play. Which will of course increase the combat situations that you will need to be prepared for in PVP.

    With that being said.. Each world skill needs to have a positive and negative that brings balance, but still offering something that someone may see valuable to how they play. Currently for me (well was current a few days ago) it was the Vamps Mist Form.. I really enjoyed the boost of speed when going to the bank or doing quests.. It also allowed me to keep up with that **** bolt escape in PVP..

    They nerfed Vampirism because we were broken as all hell. The only possible way anyone could think we weren't is if you just play single player games with cheats on and lack all concept of balance in an MMO.

    I'm part of a all vamp guild and lead a guild of my own and we aren't very pleased with the changes it's an outrage and it calls for the Vampire council to unite and fight these changes.

    Actually it takes a lot more tactic than a non-Vamp. Given every other person is wielding some sort of fire ability (or weapon effect, etc.), you need to prioritize targets much more efficiently than when you don't have to worry more about one element or the other.

    It was nerfed because vampire could be stacked with external effect... rather then focus on what was making it to strong they focused on the spec itself and now you have to gear and spec yourself the way those guys did just to have the bonus you had before that ridiculus patch. Its like... we encourage you to gear yourself with an overpowered gearset wich is actualy better then running vet 10 gear at vet1 but we want you to use something else then vampirism when doing it have a good day.

    To be a vampire with the same stat as the normal vamp you now must wear full akaviri veteran1 set (something no vet 10 should be using by default!) with seducer and be a sorcerer I love how they totaly nerfed the wrong thing.

    When lvl 10 veteran player wander around in a vet 1 legendary upgraded set this is a hint that something has gone very wrong

    I dont see anywhere on my DK skill trees about ultimate cost reduction. where is it?

    Doesn't exist. They are referring to the passive that lets you get two extra points every time you activate an ability from one of the DK trees.

    Seems to mostly be coming from vampire players trying to shift blame for the imbalance from their skill line to the Sorc and DK classes. There's no evidence that the cost reduction from either is causing a game breaking imbalance, however. The raid boss players are all vampires. That tells you that the problem is in the vampire tree.

    Then that's how it should be. You're starving. The vampire skill line should just be a cosmetic RP thing and needs more penalties like kill on sight in towns. I'm sick of seeing a sea of vampires standing around in the banks like it's perfectly normal.

    Kill on sight in towns, weakness to sunlight, no npc's guild membership or skill lines, no grouping with non vampires.

    Take the whole skill line out even.

    Also to make it more in line with the whole "RP" in your BS post give vampire abilities 10 times the damage they deal not as they are you know ... vampires? They are VERY strong in night and so forth and so on, right? Let's make it so at night no no vamp / ww player even dare to show around. Take the whole skill line out even :)

    60% reduction was too much, 21% is weird but I think it feels right. I would agree with some more penalties while in stage 4. If you are a class that can heal, the health regen penalty isn't much of an issue really. On the flip side, I'd like to see it take longer to progress through the stages as it doesn't take much time to hit stage 4.

    You can't really go too overboard with the restrictions or nobody will be one because it's too crippling. With quests so heavily tied to cities, you can't lock them out. With half the game occurring during daylight hours, you can't make them take damage in sunlight.

    I think one of the major issues was allowing people to bite other people and infect them. That basically led to mass numbers of vampires. If people actually had to camp the spawns themselves, there wouldn't be nearly as many right now.

    Especially when you consider there's a lot of *** out there that camp the spawns specifically to prevent anyone else from getting bit. I believe this is one of the main reasons for allowing players to bite each other. If you couldn't, there would be a whole lot more of them doing it.

    Sorry... Not going to lie.. I skipped reading the last 5 pages as I'm still laughing about OP's "Combat Tactics".... yea whatever.

    Basically.. OP said "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... you nerfed my OP VAMP to a semi-OP VAMP.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...." After a wall of text.

    For the record. People (non-vamps) stopped playing PVP when the VAMP's started exploiting the abilities to wipe out the entire map. SO YES!!! A NERF was overdue by about 1-2 weeks if you ask me.

    I think they should have been nerfed more, but meh. What about all the ton's of VP and AP Vamps got exploiting the issues at hand? Call it a day.. vamps got nerfed as they should have been. Werewolves need some love I think, but I've yet to play one of them so can't speak too much.
