That is beyond godawful game design then.
Reminder again that this was NOT the original design of DK. This was something they later added for the sake of now long gone CP system mechanics. But I do agree that the current design feels more like a pyromancer, as opposed to a knight/dragoon/warrior.Bl4ckR3alm93 wrote: »Fire/Poison status effect Demon

Takes away poison, shorten timers on skills like Searing Claw, hearthfire only heals with no option to do damage, standard of might is now a group ultimate and now we lose 15% damage on Whip. Pre update 49 Dragonknight was waaay better and i think ZoS should revert the changes. I feel like im playing the way Pyromancer fans want instead of my own Dragonknight fantasy as a Fire/Poison status effect Demon

The dk dots still hit as hard as pre update 49 dk just shorter duration. Hearthfire and morphs I can agree at least 1 morph should’ve stayed as dmg. Standard may be group buff but leap is now a good and strong replacement to standard and cheaper. However one point I disagree is dk does feel like playing a dragon warrior. Poison was an add on to dk during one update and poison overall never really felt it belonged and was just added to fill a space. Also read thru some of the forum posts some people think dk is overpowered. I feel dk is where it should be and that is the benchmark all the other classes should be brought up to.
That's the spirit! You can even RP the poison dragon theme with the green skill styles.Bl4ckR3alm93 wrote: »I don't see anything wrong with trying something different. Not everything needs to be the original design

Unrelated, having to rely on Off Balance to power up Flame Lash is subjectively unfun. It would be cool if it instead interacted with Landslide or Heat Shock or something else in DK kit.
Can you not adjust these frequencies in your personal systems equalizer settings?
I already use a custom equalizer to minimize common triggers, but unfortunately it's not working for these new DK effects. Somehow some new effects, like the whip aren't that easy to fix at my end (there's some kind of sharp metallic sound hard to fix). To EQ that out effectively, I would have to muffle the entire game's audio to a point where it becomes unplayable. It’s like trying to fix a single broken pixel by painting over the whole screen.
Out of curiosity, how do you usually manage your setup for this? Do you use third-party software to mute specific game frequencies in real-time, or just basic headset settings? I'm asking because even with my setup, these specific sounds remain physically painful. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
I have no comparable issue, but I do my adjustments with my sound cards built-in EQ. I figured if it is a specific range it might have been feasible to just turn that down below a safe threshold, but your problem seems to be quite complex. Maybe you can play the sound in question from your speakers to a good enough microphone to determine the predominant frequency (online tools are available for that), to help you pinpoint the issue.
There's already a post about the green skill style lol. The color does not match the original art of the poison skills so it's not the same at all. There's a side by side comparison and the skill style is just green while skills like Noxious Breath was greenish with a blend of flame color. That's the spirit! Color and a all class rework is different lol. Your reaching but ok if everyone is ok with DKs getting nerfed then whatever. That's why people keep leaving this game because of a toxic community of people like you. Thread literally says give feedback but I can't even do that without you keyboard warriors coming to say everything is fine and basically that my opinion doesn't matter. A lot of you aren't even dragonknight mains lol

Back to DK: Pyrebrand still should not interact with Wildfire Embers. This is such insanely terrible design that I had assumed it to be a bug. Absolute worst way to design dot builds, zero effort set and forget from (ranged) light attack spam. High impact, low effort, zero risk, and this is not niche like WW, you will have brainless LA dot stacking from everywhere and it will be miserable.
