The fireball meteor was like that when it first dropped as well, where other players couldn't see it in orange. They fixed that in a later update.

I mean that's fine, some of the graphics are depressed versions too, but skill styles should show for everyone, part of the point of having them is to show them off. When I use my purple arc beam, people see a purple arc beam even if the beam doesn't look the same.

I always hoped some weren't visible outside of client side. I'm not using different colors to show off, I'm trying to make a more appealing visual consistency for myself so I'm not shooting rainbows everywhere.
I've seen the class-specific styles on other players, but I don't recall seeing differing styles for things like weapon skills. So I assumed just some were intentionally withheld.
I don't want to see someone's twinkly princess peach sparkles because they're wanting to misguidedly show off. Hopefully that's an option that will be addressed in the VFX setting adjustments.
