What will you Vestigitize first?

I enjoy running around Dwarven ruins and smashing Dwarven constructs, so I think the first content I'll try out on Vestige difficulty will be all of the Dwarven delves and Dwarven public dungeons.

What about you? What will you Vestigitize first?

Probably nothing. If it was a separate instance, I would try it. As proposed, I most likely won't bother.

    I will never use it.

I think it will be fun to see how the various difficulty settings affect specific content. I mean, if I can barely solo a particular world boss right now on "default" difficulty, then I doubt I'll be trying it out on the hardest difficulty, although I might try it out on the next difficulty up from "normal." But for delves which are trivial to clear, I'm looking forward to seeing how different they feel on the various difficulty settings, so I can find which specific setting is most enjoyable for me with which specific content. I'm not interested in the increased gold or experience, just the challenge-- and I'm definitely a pretty casual player with average skills, so I'm not looking for an incredibly difficult challenge to "prove" myself, although I do enjoy a bit of a challenge if it isn't too outlandish or frustrating.

I'll try it for a bit when playing solo, probably tackling a world boss. I'll also use it for Golden Pursuit tasks.

But when I play with friends who are new to the game, I will play on the harder difficulties so I don't have to start over on a new character to be at an equal power level as them.

I'm not interested in damage sponges.

I don't go through the effort to make my character stronger just to then flip a switch and make them nerfed.

I was thinking that might be fun-- especially certain mudcrabs, such as the one from the Ashlander daily. :)

I'll probably try a couple of the difficulty levels just to see what it's like, but I doubt I'll stay on them. I am curious how tough a skeever might be on Vestige setting.

for general purpose, i probably wont bother using the difficulties unless im intentionally trying to do a challenge run on a dungeon with a friend

from what i saw, it doesnt sound like there is much in the way of rewards for going to higher difficulties which would be a huge deterrent to warrant making everything a dmg sponge

My main just started Elsweyr, so I might start with that. But I'm curious about the base game zones. I can't tell you how many times I've played through Glenumbra and I'm really curious to play some of the quest bosses throughout the storyline.

I also have a self-imposed challenge character - strict no magic use, can't use anything that even looks like magic, etc. - I'm curious to compare combat between the new difficulty level with no restrictions and gearing toward overland, and the combat difficulty of my challenge build.

Also, looking forward to possibly seeing creators come out with vestige difficulty builds and strategies.

I think Master difficulty is way to go. Your dmg 50% cut and 4x increased to you. Vestg is kinda time consuming unless it will affect only elite enemies/bosses.

One dragon breath or arc beam (or similar, im sure, Warden will get soon) is enough to kill almost anything.

I'm gonna take some alts through the main quests of zones that fit them. I think it will be interesting to see those stories with a fresh feeling.

I can't wait, I love fighting in craglorn, now every where can be like that. And when I've had enough, I can turn it back down.

    It's gonna be great.

Group dungeons won't recognize the new settings, nor will trials and arenas, just overland and their subzones-- delves, group delves in Craglorn (I assume), public dungeons, and the various other types of subzones (ruins, caves, castles, etc.).

I'm not sure if Cyrodiil and Imperial City will recognize the new settings, but it would be interesting to try them in Cyrodiil's delves and the Imperial Sewers if they do work there-- although I suspect the PvP-enabled zones are exempt.

    Questing. I general.

I don't care for day to day Dark Souls combat, but the one thing that's taken away from every story in this game is how light attacking can kill every story boss you meet.

The big bads being big and bad is what I'm looking forward too.

Bleackrock Isle, the skeletons at the ruins.
Those killed me for the first time when I started playing in 2017.
Since then I've come a long way and now they go with one-shot, but it feels like they are telling me "you are cheating".
So I want to make it fair and show them XD

their plan for increased difficulty sounds awful. imagine, you're on increased difficulty, nearly dying, almost getting one-shotted, struggling to survive, then in comes a normal difficulty setting player that just wrecks the enemy in 0.5 seconds, making you look like you don't know how to play, or like some noob with no gear.

    no thanks

A few months ago I started the base game zones again with AD and finished it so I will be immediately starting DC when this comes out.

I also want to redo the DLC zones and their side quests, so I'm going to start with Summerset as long as it indeed comes out late spring.

But to be specific I'm not going to be doing Vestige, but the level below that instead.

Honestly? Probably nothing. I might bump it up a notch on general principles, but getting from Point A to Point B is not supposed to be an adventure in itself. If I want to beat my head up against waves of trash to no good purpose (I don't need the XP or the gold), I'll go play a souls-like.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
