I hide all gear depending on the outfit, but pants and tops most of all, of course

I'm still sad that this mount was made available for gold, but it's visual is perfect for certain riders:

The best feature of this update for me

Next quality of life improvement can be ability to dye underwear, and some more styles for it, please

I tried hiding a piece of gear and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I found the 'hide' option and saved my changes for 0 gold. I decided I did not like the look, but I could not find an 'un-hide' option. I couldn't remember the name of the motif I was using prior to the 'hide' so I had to waste a lot of time searching for it and had to cough-up 500 gold to reapply it. Is this working as intended, or am I missing a step? Thanks.

Making tassets and loincloths part of the Waist styles instead of Chests (and rarely Legs) would just cause another problem as some people actually like to use the Waist styles.
Specifically i love the Psijc Order medium style including the belt, but really want to remove the tassets.

it is more helpful for ZOS to work on a way to hide Tassets and Loincloths.
They acknowledged the request in the January 12 livestream (at around 30 minutes). hopefully it will happen within a few updates.

I took a look and I couldn't find a way to un-hide these either. Hopefully there is a way to do this.

Hide options in the Outfit Station are Styles just like Hide Shoulder already was.

so no there is no unhide option.
You need to write down or remember which Styles you used before hiding them.

It's not really a "hide X" like the "hide helmet" option (and like I thought we would get). It's more of a "equip an invisible X". Since you're actually putting something in that slot there will be no undo and you'll have to find the previous piece, or select another, and pay.

Always interesting to hear such different opinions: those flowers are the only reason I use it XD I paired it with the Dibellan skirt, but I'm getting new ideas from this thread - didn't think about hiding pants and using long shirts... Also I think I'll copy the idea to give an undressed outfit to all my characters.

It should be like "hide helmet" is. Why make it work different than what we already have?

I never use that chest because of the flowers, too. I really like it otherwise but am not a flower person.

Knowing how much many of us hate these, it would be nice if there were 2 versions of these chests... one with flaps and one without.

They hide them for npcs, so clearly it's possible with some manner of effort. They also keep adding these giants flaps despite players very vocal dislike.

They work the exact same way hide shoulder do. They are styles, hide helmet is not a style the same way.

Hide Helmet is also an outfit style, but there is also the"Hide Your Helm" Hat collectible.

similar, but different things
