Update on the Snowbear Mount Currently on the Crown Store

Hi All. We're providing a quick update on the Snowbear Mount currently available on the Crown Store. This mount is planned for the updated Mounts for Gold coming in Update 49 and was not intended to be added to the Crown Store. The team is working to remove it off of the Crown Store right now, and that should be reflected in the next few hours. For anyone who purchased it between yesterday and today, we will issue a return to your account for the Snowbear Mount. Timing on the return credit will come next week once we have a better idea on when the return can be issued.

Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this and thanks to some Reddit folks who escalated this issue.

I went to sleep so angry last night after finding out on ESO Reddit 12 hours after my purchase that the Snow Bear mount would be available for 50K ingame gold as opposed to the 2K Crowns that I just wasted...

The Snow Bear skill style and Snow Bear Cub pet were both nice additions, at least.

I look forward to re-acquiring it in Update 49.

I know it's not the first time this sort of this has happened, but I paid 4K Crowns for the Kagouti, and now it's available for a pittance in gold. Not cool.

Things change.
It's no different than pple spending crowns or real money to buy DLC only to have it given away for free later. It's never cool but it happens.

I am very glad that we could save at least the precious Nix-Ox from this fate, thank you for letting something special remain like that

I hope that all other similar mounts are safe from this as well.

But I am still a bit sad and disappointed that the decision to sell some crown store mounts for a little gold at stables was not changed

It would be great if stable models would have some visual difference VS crown store versions - even a bit of color change, please?

Not counting this Snow Bear, the most recent mount is Bleakrock Snow Dog - it was for (returning) sale this December for 3000 crowns, and it will cost 50k gold soon :'( The only reason I didn't spend crowns on it at all is the red saddle (I don't like how it looks on this black and white fur pattern). If the saddle was black, that dog would be an instant sale when it appeared in the store for the first time, and another 3k crowns wasted...

If I knew that some of mounts I own would be basically given away later, I would rather save my crowns and wait. I am now afraid to buy any more mounts for crowns, so I've already skipped the recent awesome flaming Vvardvark bundle

p.s.
the rarest mount in the game, which I only saw used on my server exactly 1 time many years ago, is going to cost 50k gold I see Tigers and trial trifecta mounts rather often, just to compare!

I was so sad I decided to skip it (because I already had Lion mounts) when I understood how rare it turned out to be! If it comes live at the nearest stables in the same visual state, it changes from the mythical being to the cheap daily transportation item...

In any way, black saddle+bridle on the Senche whose muzzle is not ruined by armor is beautiful design choice

Appreciate the willingness to address and solve issues like this.

That said, may I remind you of the Worm Colossus trial dummy, which still is not functioning as a proper trial dummy, along with the many forum posts about it and tickets like 251220-003174 that have been left unanswered for 2 months now?

Apologies for bothering. I am not the type of person who likes to complain on the forums about not receiving support, but at this point it feels like I wouldn't get a response for another 2 months if I did not try my luck here.

This is set to be fixed in Update 49. We had a patch note on it in the PTS Patch Notes:

The "Target Worm Colossus" furnishing is now applying its described abilities onto you when attacked.

The refund will be processed during downtime and will be available next time you log in. Will the bear who was bought with crowns taken away from the player again when the crowns are returned?

i (really) ask for a friend, she bought the bear with crowns and likes him very much and now she wondered if he would be taken away from her if she gets the crowns back, then she woud buy him for gold at the stable.

So, basically, a question about how the procedure actually works.

You will still have access to the Snowbear mount. Just refunding the crowns.

Hi All, just wanted to follow up that this grant was completed during maintenance today. So everyone should have the correct crown amounts returned to their account. Thanks for your patience here.
