What else are people leaving over?

Over what?

With ZOS' borderline silence, my patience is running pretty thin with them.

The guild I am in is emptying out as well. Folks are not dropping out of the guild; they are dropping out of the game. Where we would typically have 30+ folks on at any one time during day or night, we now have a dozen at most. More usually 8 to 10.
I am also seeing significantly reduced numbers of players in the towns and crafting areas I play in. Sure, some are moving on to different locations, but that also means that there are no new players coming in to take their place. Not a good sign for the long term health of the PC version of ESO.
Still have lots of Speed Hackers, Teleport Hackers, BOT Hackers around. See plenty of them out in the field now. Stripping the countryside bare like the plague of locusts that they are.
This is one big problem that occurs when you have multiple-guild options. People tend to swap/hop around (even if they do stay in the game). One guild per player has always worked better, it promotes team spirit and build stronger friendships.
It's my feeling that Zeni only went down the multi-guild route to help justify their 'bad decision' not to make a global auction house !

- Bad and limited GUI options
- Bad banking system
- Lack of guild options
- No dueling
- Can't reply in mail
- Crappy guild store, lack of any real AH
- No underwater swimming
- Bug ridden game
- No crime system. (might be in some day)
- Difficult to play in groups.
- Bad LFG system
- Can't even fix some bugs that have been in the game for over a year
- Bad communication with customers
- Laggy combat
- Addon system instead of simple user friendly tools
- Loot system needs an overhaul
- Vet levels
- Overpriced things like banks, bags, mounts, COD, etc
- Challenge balance with classes and monsters
- PvP is become a ghost town
Just to list a few things.
For me the most disappointing aspect of this game is that it is not an MMO but a single player game with other gamers running rampant in your game. There essentially is no need for interaction with other players outside of group dungeons.
Well, my personal meaning is, in fact this game is somehow boring.
PVP you could forget as a normal human being, quests and sceneries are repetitive, everything that makes an MMO an MMO isn't available or it is problematic. It has nice graphics and as there is a big hole atm in the MMO landscape you can play it a bit until something better comes. If you are in a nice communicative big trading guild like me you have also some contact and fun, while you do these epic singleplayer quests until you are bored to death.
Sure I don't do this VR1 to VR10 mess, I make some twinks to look at the story of all factions, and if I am bored enough I hope there is something else on the market until then. A real possibility to develop the character and his business I don't see. You have your given questline, you have to do it until VR10, then make laggy PVP against Überbuilds and meanwhile try to ignore that all this is totally senseless
Don't get me wrong. This game has a nice scenery and if you buy a cheap gamecard offer it isn't expensive, so it is a nice time waster, and you can live with it... until you find a better time waste

One played for about a day and gave up due to various technical issues , the other unsubscribed at the end of the free to play period because of overall discontent. If serious gamers aren't 'hanging in there' but returning to other entertainments, then I wonder at the rest. I think the unhappiness and frequent notes about leaving on this forum are an indicator - only a tiny number of people bother to complain about a product, most of them just leave, quietly, taking their money with em. And what is worse for a business, telling their friends not to bother.
