New rewards for the old dungeon achievements, and the ones yet to come?

I was having a discussion with a friend and we talked about how underwhelming the current rewards for dungeon challenger/trifectas are. We used to get some cool stuff on challengers (skins, perosnalities) but trifectas used to not even have titles. Now we get nothing except sometimes a skin for completing on vet and a (most of the times odd sounding) title for trifectas (coral caretaker?). So my question is: How can we make it more rewarding for completing the hardest 4-man content already in the game (and also whatever comes next)?

Keep it as is, the trifecta title is rewarding enough

Trifectas used to get the skins and people complained about it being too much so the were moved to vet completion. This is proof that they really can't please everyone.

A portion of players who don't interact with high-end content are happy with the lackluster rewards just so they won't feel like missing out, ZOS should find a way to get feedback from players who are actually tackling trifectas similarly to what they did with the last Vengeance campaign.

I for one think the endgame community is so small exactly due to how hollow the incentive is, getting a mere title after a trifecta feels like a puny prize, I only do them exclusively because the content is actually really fun, the rewards unfortunately do not reflect that.

Now just imagine if every challenger/trifecta gave you cool cosmetics themed after the content they're tied to, you'd definitely have a major shift in players actually getting interested on high-end content and investing more time in the game, this would build a much healthier environment for ESO.

    more rewards are good.

i just wish for lower thresholds for acquiring them.
Let a Personality, Mount, Skin be acquired by doing things beyond Hardmode and Trifectas.
it would motivate more people to do dungeons.
    (Edited to add,
    such as:
    - reading all lorebooks in a dungeon
    - those achievements for killing 100 of an enemy type
    - secret bosses or puzzles)

Scrivener's Hall is awesome, it gives us keys in both Normal and Veteran difficulty that we can use in the chest room to get rewards.

I never needed the high-end rewards for trifectas. The reward was a title and simply being able to do it with my friends.

I was a huge supporter of making the "premium" reward (e.g. personalities and skill styles) available to lower-tier clears. A personality is something that could be useful to someone who wants to roleplay and not necessarily for an endgame PvE thing. Why should something that's useful for one playstyle be gatekept behind another? That's like saying that you'll give an über gear set to someone who writes the best backstory for their local shopkeeper.

Skins modelled after the dungeon enemies I feel are more appropriate for the Challenger achieve. There's little reason to wear most of the dungeon skins in any world other than to brag about your clear (besides a few specific ones like the Malatar one), so making that a higher-tier reward makes sense.

But at the end of the day, the most fun I have in this game is being able to go into a new dungeon blind and puzzle out the mechanics with my dungeon friend group. So... well, 2026's not looking good for me.

I’m hardcore team “bring back challenger rewards”. They entice people to give dungeons a chance beyond the queue and see dungeons in a new light. The worm wizard personality got me into doing dungeons in a guild… because I wanted it for roleplay. I never thought I’d get a trifecta but by joining a guild to get the personality, I was set on the road to becoming a dungeon endgamer.

Challenger rewards are perfect for getting people into dungeons. They’re far less intimidating than trifectas considering how hard you can cheese a challenger (carry someone through the HM, barrier rotation through no death). My only caveat is that challenger rewards that casuals would want should be restricted to the easier hard modes. Not coral aerie, not bal sunnar, not scriv hall, and definitely not black gem. Add the rewards to the cauldron, black drake villa, red petal bastion, lair of maarselok, etc.

I would be down to get trifecta rewards but trifectas are indeed their own reward... and we’ll get whatever’s added to challengers by doing tri. The biggest thing is that we need new blood baited in to doing dungeons beyond the queue.

I always wanted to give more feedback about better titles for group content, so this thread seems perfect for it :)

    1. I like that skins are for veteran completions, but if skins and personalities were moved for Challenger completions, I would like that as well. Like in older dungeons, so there is a reason to get Speed, Hard Mode, No death achievements done.
In new dungeons, skins come from regular veteran clears, and it's either do Hard Mode or trifecta if you want some extra titles.
I am ok with adding even more cosmetics for dungeons/trials. As for trials specifically, Hard Mode can have some basic mount reward; Trifecta would unlock extra effects to that mount; list of different achievements in addition to Trifecta would unlock even better variant of the mount (such as the wolf with day/night variants from upcoming Battle Pass).

    2. Please, make more titles and make some of them sound better (even as option, in case somebody likes their original version). There are lot of achievements with nice names, which grant no titles. And there are some titles which sound super boring or weird :/
What is even "Foundry's Foil" or "Coral Caretaker" or "Moth Trusted" or "Curator's Champion" or "Earthen Root Avenger"?..
Make that something like "Overseer" or "Demolitionist", "of Gryphon blood" or "the Wild" or "Gryphon Master" or "Gryphon Rider", "Scroll Keeper" or "Keeper of the Scroll", "Mightier than Sword" or "with Ink in her/his veins", "Avenger" - and I would find a use for those <3

Also, I would prefer to have selection of additional versions of even more dungeon/trial titles:

"Chaos Disciple" instead of "Bedlam's Disciple"
"Tormentor" (as short of "Telvanni Tormentor") instead of "Scourge of Sunnar"
    "Inflammable" instead of "Weaver's bane"
    "Battlescribe" instead of "Scribe Savior"
"Archdruid" instead of "Earthen Root Champion"
"the Undying" instead of "Fist of Tava"
    "Relentless" instead of "Subterranian Smasher"
"Unsinged" or "Keeper of Knowledge" instead of "Ardent Bibliophile"
    "Flame Dancer" instead of "Flamechaser"
"Vampire hunter" instead of "Bane of Thorns"
    "Wicked" instead of "Storm Foe"
"Grave Robber" instead of "Bonecaller's bane"
"Drunk on Power" instead of "Hollowfang Exsanguinator"
"Nature's Wrath" instead of "Z'en's Redeemer"
"Cold-blooded" instead of "Frozen Treasure Seeker"
"Hircine's Hound" instead of "Hircine's Champion"
    "Bonecaller" instead of "Blackmarrow's Bane"
"The Dark Heart" or "Twilight Cantor" instead of "Dro-m'Athra Destroyer"
    "Perfectionist" instead of "Welkynar Liberator"
"Soul Savior" instead of "Xalvakka's Scourge"
"Herald of Change" instead of "Daedric Bane"
    "Unsinkable" instead of "Swashbuckler Supreme"
"Master Marine" or "Corsair" instead of "Dreadsails' Scourge"
"Victorious" or "The Unbroken" instead of "Cista breaker"

Examples of dungeons achievement names which would be awesome titles:

    "Rhytmic Genius", "Temple Hero"
"Minimalist", "Soul Rancher", "Soulbinder" (as shorter variant of achievement "Soulbinder Subordinate Slayer"), "Stone Breaker"
    "Pack Hunter"
"Vault Guardian", "Legend" (as shorter variant of "Salvation's legend"), "Master of Fate" (as variant of "Fate's Master"), "Keeper of the Keys"
"Aggressive Arborist", "Gate Crusher", "Respects the Dead" (as variant of "Respect for the Dead")
    "Can't catch me!"
    "Big Bad Wolf", "Old Fashioned"
    "Eye of the Storm", "Hex-Proof"
"Garden Master", "Friend of the Trees"
    "Vault Cracker", "Purified", "Ice Breaker"
"Head of the Pack", "Apex Predator", "Mist Walker"
    "Mountain God"
    "Artisan of Pain", "Oathbreaker"
"Beacon in the Night", "Exterminator", "Matador" (as short version of "Haj Mota Matador"), "Fears no Darkness", "Embraced the Shadow"
    "Darklight Dancer"

Examples of trials achievement names which would be awesome titles:

    "Faster than Flames"
    "Fire Walker"
"Power House", "Terminator" (short version of "Terminal Terminator"), "Machine" (short version of "Well-Oiled Machine")
    "Stormchaser", "Faster than Lightning"
    "Voice of Clarity"

Honestly, same. I used to only want to play random dgs but seeing that beast personality got me into doing harder content and eventually I got my first trifecta. That's the number one reason I want more rewards tied to harder achievements that are in between normal dungeons and trial trifectas in difficulty, to lure more players into doing it. We need more people starting their journey to the endgame and putting cool rewards in something that they can see as a possibility for them at the moment (like a challenger and unlike a trial trifecta) is perfect for that.
