Should ESO Plus include more Crowns per month?

Since I've seen a lot of comments saying that ESO Plus has less value now, I was wondering if increasing the current monthly allotment of Crowns would be a welcome change.

Option C) I don't really use the crowns I have so have no opinion either way (6 month sub renewed in Feb and still have some left from previous 6 month sub) but I'd object if more crowns was the answer to ESO+ players paying twice for the dungeons in the Pass.

ZOS really should make additional way to buy Solstice, less expensive option for only new Zone + pack with mounts/pets/recall. Its really not fair to pay more than for chapters years before just because they added dungeons to the pass (which i would get anyway from eso+)

All of those concerns about devaluated ESO+ would be redundant if they‘d just give the option to purchase zones separately.
Dungeons are purchasable separately in the crown store. The new zone won‘t be.
It‘s just the mandatory bundle with dungeons that upsets subscribers.
I just don‘t wanna be charged twice for dungeons…

Nah, it schouldn't. Yes, the Pass-includes Dungeon DLC's are making it less value, but there are so many other goodies like the bags and so on. So i don't think that more Crowns are the thing which make it feel more better, we need something else. Something, that only eso+ has in it

Never say no to free stuff, but that idea doesn't really get to the core why people are upset.

What they should do, is offer a discount for the "season pass" for ESO+ subscribers, maybe with a minimum subscription time. It's really not rocket science.

The craft bag and this new “furnishing vault” are not necessarily “worth it” for many players, though. Especially when those players are paying for the same content twice.

I would really love double amount of crowns for the subscription <3 This would allow me to buy many extra stuff from the store, and I would never say that subscription is devalued ever again - no matter what!

...It would be nice to even get +300 crowns per month

300 crowns x 12 months = 3600 extra crowns. This is enough to buy 2 dungeon DLCs at full price, plus a little extra. Probably the most suitable resolution!

We could also get another +150 crowns per month increase, like in the past.
Many years ago, when ESO+ lost some value (I can't remember exactly why... I think it was when we stopped getting 4 DLCs per year?), we got +150 crowns per month (it used to be 1500 crowns per month, and then it became 1650 crowns).

150 crowns x 12 months = 1800 extra crowns. This is about what it would cost to buy 2 dungeon DLCs on good sale.
It would not be as good as double crowns, or +300 crowns - but still nice :)

However, they could double the number of crowns and it still wouldn't be worth it.

    All things considered, yap.

From the recent news and what everyone are saying here on the forums. ESO Plus just became less valuable. They need to do something to make it more worth our while. They need to "sweeten the pot", give us a better deal.

Besides one can't do much with 1650 crowns anyways, much of the stores content is way above that.

    No.

I think they should simply add a few thousand Crowns to the Content Pass and reward people for just buying their annual content pass.

Not if you read the poll question. It doesn't, unlike the introduction, ask if more crowns would be a welcome change, rather it asks if you think ZOS should increase the crowns. Personally, I see no reason for them to do so given that the present allotment of crowns pretty much pays for the subscription as it is and there are other benefits to ESO+ already. I don't consider it to be worth any less to me today than it was a week ago.

I would prefer an option for a lesser price on the season pass if you have eso plus.

In the past I would have welcomed more crowns but I usually use them to buy houses, and they haven’t had one that I have wanted since Markarth launch.

This is like asking my kid “should you get to watch two hours of TV instead of one”

Not sure there are going to be many players against more crowns. But they need to do something, this new content cadence is a blatant attempt to get more money for the same or possibly even less content.

To be fair we have lost the Q4 DLC from ESO Plus for a few years at this point and I suspect that was the plan to test the waters.

Moving forward even thou we get Dungeons in ESO Plus and also in the season which we have to buy there isnt much incentive left for ESO Plus... I have enough items in my craft bag to last me another 10 years and the furniture vault isnt what I had hoped it was going to be at a measly 500 slots.

I still have 9 months on my sub thou so need to wait it out, see what happens next year and decide if I will stop subbing.

I find the amount of crown as is now very fair. Together with the crafting bags, they are the key features of ESO+, with in addition many other advantages like double more furniture for houses, dying costumes, and so on... In term of content vs. price, I find the subscription much better balanced than whatever else in the crown store. Honestly, I even find it at the limit of unfairness toward players who can't afford paying a monthly fee.

Generally, with now the yearly pass in addition, I'm not sure to understand why ZOS does not transparently and officially swap to a "pay to play" game. What remains aside of those paying options looks to me like a weak alibi to maintain the term "cost free game" valid.

While this does not solve the issue with the diminishing value of ESO+, I'll never say no to more Crowns.

Actually this and more new features for ESO+ (maybe discounts on more items) are needed to attract more subscribers.

Season Pass should replace ESO + as it gives you the same +Season Pass content. I am not but all you long time ESO+ members got the short straw.

Yes, why not, as it doesn't 'technically' cost ZOS anything. However, in the end, it DOES cost them because they are losing out on people who will have the extra crowns and not buy them on sale or regular price.

When population is high, ZOS could afford to be more generous... but with population lower, they need more revenue coming in. So anything that could ultimately cost them revenue, is probably not something they would do. They said years ago that ESO+ doesn't keep the lights on- and that was back when the game had a high population.

If we're losing value ZoS needs to bring more value to us somehow to make it up. If not crowns there should be ESO+ only free mounts, customizable actions, etc that won't be available to non-ESO + members later in the crown store. That's how ZoS handled the sub after they added in the non-Sub option where we got the striped senche mount, exclusive non-combat pets, etc. for still subscribing.
