It seems like everyone has brought out their Sorc
this class is actually on top trend, and it's no coincidence. SORC is F***ing OP as hell in pvp
maybe zos could you do something about... BALANCE?

I've mentioned this on a few other threads and think I would add it to your list, though not specific to sorcs. Ranged damage should be reduced the further you are from your target. It's basic risk/reward and right now it's out of balance in favor of ranged players.

Can you tell me the gearset/build that allows for 50k+ mag, 40k+ health, 28k+ resist? I run a full mag sorc and I am just at 50k, lucky to get 17k resist and sitting at 25k health. I have scoured the various ESO gear sites and calculated a myriad of armor sets and none of them in any combo give what you listed.

I disagree for a number of reasons.
1. Generally speaking, ranged have less armor/mitigation and in toe to toe combat their damage is not as bursty as any given melee. This spans just about any MMORPG made for the...well since their inception.
2. Ranged actually have to aim and require the appropriate skillset. Melee all cleave and you only have to be in the general area. A ranged player, even in melee range has to aim, melee, again only need you to be in the general area.
3. Line of sight drastically affects ranged in a negative way and greatly benefits melee. Proof of this is World of Warcraft arena. Hunters who had little melee combat ability were the last class in representation in arena matches for a decade, and yet the class who had the most people playing it.
The reason was line of sight. Melee pillar humping absolutely kills ranged. Same happens in ESO and the maps are designed to give melee that cover.

The idea of balance changes is to make things overall more competitive. Zos has made balance completely go off the rails with the change to ward. It's a giant meme and probably cost zos subscriptions. The change to ward ranks up there with going live with roa as, imho, one of the worst changes in the history of this game.

I have a PvP magsorc, and I don’t quite understand how hardened ward is so overpowered. It only lasts for like 2 seconds. I have it, I use it, I still die a lot. There are plenty of other players who can steamroll right over me in the blink of an eye. I’m not trolling, I am asking an honest question. I can remember when I used it in PvE a long time ago and it was 8 seconds or something.
It seems like the same argument that was used to nerf nightblade’s cloak. Everyone said how powerful it was but it only lasted 2 seconds (before they changed it). Now cloak is hard for my PvE stamblade but I bet a PvP magblade is able to do well with it now.
