New dungeons' trash mob aggro distance seems quite long

I swap equipment between encounters (minimum trash/boss setup) and noticed that in these new dungeons it seems the trash mobs aggro from very, very far. There were multiple occasions where I was selecting a loadout and someone ninja pulled from a distance that should not pull anything. Anyone else noticed that?

It's not just you, I commented on the same thing yesterday when doing one of the new dungeons.

Hello! Our Encounters team would like to look into this. Could you all let us know which trash mobs you're noticing this behavior with, and where you were in the dungeon when it happened? Thanks!

Also seemed like the siege weapons passed through the barriers like they were not there at all

Multiple encounters. I did both of them twice so it's a bit of a blur which one was what. A couple times I remember, one going up some stairs and not even out of the stairs yet and the mob far away aggroed. And another one was after some boss go out, down stairs and there's a mob that aggroed right after getting down the stairs.

Anyway, going to do those dungeons multiple times anyway so I will try to keep in mind which mobs particularly aggro from a long distance. It feels like all of them, but I will pay more attention the next runs.

edit: I have a feeling each time something aggroed from a distance there was an elite in the mix. I think.

The aggro range of most of the trash mobs in Exiled Redoubt feels a bit off but the one that stood out the most was the mob indicated with the red arrow in the attached image. Mobs indicated with the green arrows also had aggro ranges that stood out as wrong but just not quite as much as the one indicated with the red arrow, with the exception of maybe the mob after the very first door.

Our tank commented on the same thing - going through a door without taking a step further would result in aggro multiple times. In older dungeons you can go through and wait at the door and they only aggro once you step away from the door(way).

I did both new dungeons solo yesterday, and it happens on each mob group. I basically enter the room/area where the mob pack is, and they all start running to me - when I'm definitely not in the normal aggro distance :o

Also, I think the last boss fight in Lep Seclusa is horrible, too much area damage and boss movement :'( I will have to tank this on vet probably, and I dread this thought.

I ran both of the new dungeons twice yesterday (in a group) and the last boss in Lep Seclusa was my favorite of all the bosses. I found the encounter to be interesting and fun and hope we get more like this in the future.

Went both dungeons again and yes, it's pretty much all trash pulls.

In ER the worst is definitely after the penultimate boss when you go through the door, then stairs down. Some big ads teleport and immediately aggro even when you are just down the stairs and not advancing.

After that fight, the stairs on the left, if you go up those, the mob aggroes. Similar to that one stair in Rockgrove.

Pretty much all of the mobs behave like that but those two between the last and the second last boss are the worst.

Not OP but the first trash mobs in Lep Seclusa after Noriwen boss fight felt like they already knew we were coming, already coming just after climbing the stairs.
I can't say much on Exiled Redoubt, I've done it only 3-4 times, so I haven't got the mental map of pulls, but I kinda remember some of the earlier ads being pulled quite fast
This text used to said "Main: Dragonknight Tank". Way before subclassing, my raid leaders made sure I had many identity crises on both roles and classes. I tonked. Or dodoed. Or healed. Updating accordingly.

Main: Stuff-doer on a wizardry game. Still enjoying it.
