Rapport sources for Tanlorin and Zerith-var (feel free to contribute)

it's odd in a way, we heard there was going to be a necro companion and the first thing a lot of people thought was "finally a bad guy companion" but if anything he has a stronger moral rule set than a lot of the others. Except Bastian who is just a prude about everything.

There wasn't any verification if the Sealed Alchemy Writ (master writ) worked for Tanlorin's daily 150 rapport. Just tested it and it doesn't. Background: like a butt, I had Zerith out while doing my daily crafting writs ^^

As players are still adding to this thread. Here is one for Tanlorin not mentioned in this thread: She gains two rapport hearts for gaining a full skillpoint, both with completing three skyshards and from quest skillpoints when completing a quest that grants a skillpoint. (There does seem to be a cooldown, not sure how long.)
Note: She also gets rapport for activating a skyshard, but that is different.

PS: I always wonder if ZOS looks at this thread/similar threads thinking: "Hey, they are still missing a few sources!"

Really wish that ZOS could implement something in the main Companion User Interface, right below the sentence which tells us how that Companion specifically feels about the Vestige. It doesn't even have to show the numerical values like the add-on does in the chatbox, just the different red, green and yellow symbols (with text added next to those symbols, like Achivement descriptions) that pop-up whenever Rapport changes.

Right now, it just feels odd to see a half-empty User Interface in there:

For Zerith-var, I got -5 rapport by using a Counterfeit writ to clear heat.

Another not mentioned for Zerith-Var: If he heals the player(you) when you are below 10-25% health(not sure on the %), you will gain three hearts rapport. At the same time he said: "That was a close one." This happened to me in the IA a few times, at first I couldn't figure out why I got that rapport gain randomly.

+10 Heal yourself while in a critical state (red edges on the screen)

probably doesnt matter who or what heals you, as long as you get healed from low hp

Zerith-Var has 2x +125 dailies:

1. Grahtwood Elsweyr defense daily (top North, accessible after completing both of the Northen Elsweyr prologue quests, the demon weapon +the halls of the colossus).

2. Daily tales of tribute quest (either PvP or cards across the continent).
Note: doesn’t matter if Cards across the continent is a green/blue/purple reward (I.e. complete 1/2/3 matches), it’s just the “”quest completion” that seems to trigger the boost.

Do all four +125 Rapport dailies work more than once per day for Tanlorin and Zerith-var? I believe they did for Bastian and Mirri, but not the newer companions since then.

i think they added cooldowns to those, at least for newer ones

so like for sharp who gets bonuses from ashlander dailies, i only got his rapport boost once a day even doing multiple of those quests at a time

i think zerith is the same way, you dont get rapport boost for both pvp and pve tribute dailies, its one or the other each day

Something with Zerith-var and Hollow City seems to be bugged. Is he supposed to gain or to lose rapport? It showed a rapport loss (don't know how much because I'm not using any addons for that), but the voice line was absolutely contradictive. Roughly translated, his comment was "A place of such beauty alleviates my pain to be far away from my own time."

What does he say in English? Maybe they just used the wrong voice file in the translation (sounds to me like it's the one meant for a striking locale)?

Or wait, the Fighters Guild hall is a striking locale and is nearby, I think? So it seems the comment was for that, while the rapport loss was for the city itself. Still looks contradictive.

Fairly sure the cooldown on this one is 5 min. I didn't get rapport at 3 min, but did at 5:30. But I've only tested it once or twice.

Not sure if anyone said this yet, but Tanlorin gets a +125 for mages guild quests. Funny when you get negative rappot for walking in there.

Their +125 Rapport comes from the Fighters Guild dailies, not from the Mages Guild dailies.

I only did the Mages Guild Daily, just to show that the information here is correct.

can confirm that tanlorin never got +rapport from mages guild daily

that was always the first one i would turn in when i was doing all 3, only ever got rapport from fighters guild out of the 3 guild dailies
