Daily Rewards: more tri-pots and less crates please.

You can do that with many of the box drops, but so few Crown Gems don't do much.PC

frogthroat✭✭✭Tristat ingredients are apparently expensive. No first hand experience since I am stacked. But if you don't collect alchemy ingredients, then you probably do something more interesting that results in gold so it shouldn't be an issue to buy either crafted tristat potions or the ingredients. I can't run past a glowing node, but that's just me. Sell your Undaunted Plunders and buy the ingredients.
You can't craft crown crates, no matter how many alchemy nodes you harvest. I am happy with the crown crates.1 -

I'm a tank main, and I run a lot of higher-level content. I'll dip into PvP every so often too. Columbine is extremely expensive, and "oh, just pick up every one you walk past" doesn't keep enough stocked - believe me, I spent this whole week farming nodes. And it doesn't help that the flowers are RNG based as to which ones pop up, and I just don't see Columbine that often - for me it's usually Corn Flower, Dragonthorn, or Wormwood. I also reset every alchemy survey I collect until there are a minimum of 3 columbine nodes to get the most out of it. Somehow I still use them faster than I get them.
Crates are also a lot of fun to stockpile gems. I see a free crate as a source of 4-5 gems, and if I get more then it's nice. I actually get a bit disappointed if it's got a collectable in there that I can't gem out, but then every so often you get something like an XP scroll that's worth even more gems. And with the gems, I can go get what I do want after a while.
Honestly, I don't mind anything we get for the rewards because it's all free stuff. But yes, tripots are my favorite thing, followed by crates, seals, and mats. I'm most likely to insta-toss the poisons and XP scrolls myself, but I know there are people who love XP boosts so I'm not going to demand the XP scrolls go away, despite the fact that I have stacks of those sitting around. Not every daily has to be useful.0 -
