I'm just commenting that the only real thing I've gotten from the crates so far is crown gems and I've noticed a number of guildies also would be happier if we had more tri-pots as these actually have a use.

Tri-pots instead of poisons, maybe. I like getting crown gems. Aren't poisons easier to make in quantity?

I destroy almost all the poisons and potions I get, and no more useless emotes or pets.

I would actually like to delete a lot of this stuff in collections.

I disagree. I like the crates. But I would rather have more Tripots than some of the other useless stuff we get like the poisons, soul gems, at this point, I'd even take tripots over gold rewards unless they're giving the gold away in 100k chunks.

Tripots and Crates are awesome. Poisons are okay ish. Soul gems are terrible. Those purple foods that are strictly worse than Sugar Skulls are terrible. Non combat pets are terrible.

I agree with more Tri-pots in Daily Rewards. Having to wait until the end of the month for a stack of Tri-pots is kinda ridiculous. And zos giving us more Tri-pots would be one way to help with the ingame economy because it currently blows.

        Currently on PC/NA:
        - Columbine = ~4K
        - Bugloss = ~500
        - Mountain Flower = ~500

With the Alchemy passives you can craft 4 potions for the price of 1, the buffs from potions will last about 45 seconds, and the potions have about a 45 second cooldown. So using Tri-pots can cost about 5K gold every 3 minutes!!!

If you play any kind of demanding content ingame then you're most likely burning through potions like a mad man. And if you're not in a trading guild, or trading crowns , or selling content runs, then you're just paying more to play the game than you'll ever earn...

You know how to make Texas the third largest state? Divide Alaska in half. That's how much larger Alaska is than Texas.

To the world outside the US, the phrase is "everything's bigger in Texas." We don't refer to the size of the state, just everything in it.

There is no reason that ZOS cannot give out more tri-pots on the few days of month with tri-pots. This is not a zero-sum game. ZOS can give out more of anything via daily rewards without reducing or removing other daily rewards.

Are we talking about the Crown Tri-Restoration Potion? Because I have more of these than I'll ever use and have even destroyed excess. I rarely have to use one so they build up fast.

OP: You probably should have just said "more tri-pots" and never even mentioned anything about "less crown crates"... I bet everyone (except the people that like to disagree for no reason, or those benefiting from the current situation) would have agreed that receiving more tri-pots in daily rewards is a good thing, as long as it wasn't replacing something more desirable. People are generally okay with receiving more or extra of something, but they do not like receiving less or the taking away of something.

You can use the gems to buy tripots

Personally I really like getting crates as daily rewards, because the gems do accumulate over time so I can buy crate stuff that I don't want to spend my seals on. Tripots are also welcome but mats are earnable in the game, and since I don't want to spend crowns on crates I much prefer crates as daily rewards.

I was the same until I started using tri-pots in group content. Now I use tri-pots on 3 active tanks, plus I have 2 other tanks I use sometimes, and 2 DPS, and 3 healers… I started using plain potions on the DPS and healers because I’m running out of tri-pots.

Not a fan of crates, not that I spurn the free ones, but still I'd rather have something concrete (*ahem* , virtually) than a chance of something I probably don't want or need.

        More mats are always welcome.

Or, maybe just change the daily rewards system to offer a player-selectable choice: either a crate, a bunch of mats, tripots...whatever? Then everyone has a chance and choice of getting something they want.

        Provided they don't implement it as random..with a map...with a chance to get a lead to an antiquity dig site...with a chance of a daily reward that's probably another map...with a chance...etc :#
