What do you think the "something spectacular" will be? (wrong answers welcome)

Logically, this should become clear only after receiving the house. Even looking at the house should not give an understanding.

    Mystery solved : it's 2 free house guests! :)

I doubt it. They're not nothing but would most players consider them "spectacular"?

A term they use - accurately IMO - to describe the house itself.
You’ll receive the unfurnished house on just your third day of logins this month, starting things off with something spectacular. Speaking of spectacular, this house could be hinting at something special! You’ll have to wait and see…

The way I read their announcement (copied above), even receiving it wouldn't be enough.

Describing the house as a hint, I think the something special is not a part of the house itself.

I think the people guessing at either a TES VI announcement which many theorise may be set in Hammerfell based on the promo video, and / or an early announcement about ESO's 2025 chapter and possible new class are more likely.

If it's a new housing feature.... the only thing this house would hint as is mining. Many games with housing and which include resources / crafting allow building resource nodes in homes. But would people really find that spectacular?

At some point doesn't Alchemy refer to her House of Reveries troupe as spectacular? Or are they are referred to as such by someone? Maybe I'm tripping...

Anyway, yeah, I'd fine the ability to grow resources in homes to be spectacular. IIRC It's a feature they said they'd bring to the table long ago and then quietly scrapped without word.

    this house could be hinting

It could just be sitting there laughing and has no intention of hinting anything.

This probably always depends on what someone personally finds particularly attractive. I would find the “mining” (or “gardening”) in the house spectacular and would be very happy. An announcement of TES VI or a furnishing bag, on the other hand, wouldn't be worth any special advertising for me.

    something housing related maybe.
a huge notable house being given away on day 3 is similar to Orsinium being given away in March on day 2.

i wonder if the new Redguard furnishings (which were on pts when update 41 was tested) will be given away in some way or only sold through the housing editor.

plus the roadmap mentions a housing spotlight for May

whilst it would be nice for it to be related to a Hammerfell chapter or Elder Scrolls 6

it seems prettyy early for the next chapter to be revealed
and TES 6? i feel like that's still years away and we already saw the teaser 6 years ago which was without a doubt a view of Hammerfell.

Why isn't there an in-person event in Africa? Rwanda, Mozambique, Madagascar, etc.

It would be better to have it in Namibia - then Bethesda fans could visit the set of the Fallout TV series.

When I first loaded house, it had this saurus outside. (Harry -named for 1st visitor).
    However, Harry has now gone...

edit: nvm, he's chasing a scorpion underground...

I had a spider, but he was chased away by my little jackal, Carlos. I wonder how many different animals are in the cave? I wasn't too keen on the spider :D

The only thing I could think of was grapple points. That would be neat to have placeable grapple points for homes. I kept thinking how the place was missing them.
