I think this makes a lot of sense for when you're on the go instead of having to clutter your bank/inventory or tp to your home's storage crates and sift through.

Your bank is shared, so this doesn't matter. You could pull from each respective character whenever you want to activate the build.

i'd prefer the update that allows storing gear directly inside the Armory, thus vacating some bag/bank space, so that Assistant to exchange with the Armory own storage if implemented.

The armory assistant ALONE cost more than most games. It should absolutely dump unused gear back into the bank.

    OR (my preferred solution)

Store the gear inside the armory assistant FOR ALL YOUR CHARACTERS. So that any character can pull from the armor pool you have saved in the assistant.

I thought about this, I pay 1500 crowns for a armory slot per char, when I save a build that gear should be banked in the armory.

I paid 1500 crowns for 1 slot on 1 char, thats the least Zos can do...

I’m voting yes not because I’d benefit but because it’d be smart. On PC we have addons that help us but no addon can store gear. Adding gear storage to armory would benefit those who want it and also benefit ZOS by making buying armory slots more enticing.

I would actually purchase this assistant, if all saved gear was stored in assistant's inventory (shared across all my characters) :) But this assistant should not have any limits where it can be used; not locking me out of my gear in trial/Cyrodiil etc.

What if you want to use the gear on another character but still keep the saved build?

Then add an option to have it pull from assistant into bank if you are on another character.

YES, however, only if the armory is usable by all chars (account bound) and the assistant can be spawn for use everywhere.

Honestly, I'm fine with either option, I just want the ARMORY SLOTS THAT I PAY FOR TO BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL MY CHARACTERS. Once I realized each $15 slot was only available for one character, I was beyond angry. Like, I almost quit the game, angry.

I don't even use the armory assistant but it makes perfect sense that it should hold all the gear being used by it's saved builds rather than expecting the character to carry extra sets around or run back and forth to store them when not in use.

Nah, it can't send to the bank. If it did, what would be the point of the banking assistant? You GOTTA spend more money on crowns if you want easy access to banked goods, and giving bank functionality to another assistant might make people not buy the banker. We can't have that! /s

I'd like to see the Armory Assistant offer storage for gear of up to 12 pieces per slot purchased (not the initial 2).

I currently have the following builds on my Warden now:
    Trial Tank
    Hybrid Tank
    Stamden
    Magden
    Trial Healer (stam)
    Trial Healer (mag)
    Hybrid Healer (stam)
    Hybrid Healer (mag)

Some of these share gear and the like, but it's still a lot of pieces on my poor warden to carry on top of the individual potions and food buffs!

I am used to carrying multiple sets of gear from before we had the Armory Guy.

Do other games have a system that stores your gear? It is not something I would expect it to do.

FFXIV has gear specific storage that is not your inventory.

It's limited, but it'll hold all your different jobs' gear sets.

Never gonna buy an armory assistant nor extra armory slots because armory and outfit slots are per character, not account wide.

    Absolutely!

Since they are charging you PER CHARACTER for armory slots, then it ought to do this as an added bonus / incentive for purchasing them.

Otherwise there are free add ons that essentially do the same thing so long as the items are in your inventory.

The reason I voted No is due to how easy it is to decon gear thats in the bank or if you remove an item that the armory thinks is in the bank thats not there the issues it would cause.

I would much rather they just released an armory vault that has say 100 - 200 item capacity. You please items in the vault through the armory and you can only remove them through the armory. It would be as though Grasharog has his own backpack (he is an Orc after all)

They can't swap curse, mundus, change your morphs, attributes and reset CPs without paying.

I already carry around 3 - 4 different sets of gear with my main char. I want to be flexible. So my inventory space is very limited. I would certainly pay for another armory slot (already have 4) if it was possible to store the gear in the armory. I think I'm not the only one. So ZOS could make good profit with this option. ;)

Storage space in ESO is at a premium as it is, whether stored on char or stored in bank extra gear for alternate builds is taking up too much space as it is.

I would argue instead for an expansion of the armoury system:

1: Base is 3 armoury slots, not 2. Thus players can have tank+heal+dps, or dps+heal+pvp / dps/tank/pvp without having even more of their money coerced out of them.

2: Armoury gear is stored in the armoury system itself, freeing up valuable inventory+bank space.

3: Armoury system is upgraded to allow for alternate gear sets within one build (current system is not friendly for end-game tanks)

4: A semi-armoury system is introduced to mimic the features of the 'wardrobe'/'dressing-room' addons, because currently for score-pushing groups this is such a must-have it shows the shortcomings of the armoury system.
Essentially - able to change gear with one keybind setup. Especially powerful as armoury assistant is blocked from being used during leaderboard events, creating even more of a divide between PC and console.

(I think CP setup-changes should also be blocked, so as to minimise the difference between addon-users and the rest of the playerbase)

addon functionality: change gear+CP setups. Suggest blocking CP changes during leaderboard events to level the playing field.
New armoury-lite suggestion: Change gear sets with one button click (and can store multiple gear setups under one armoury build as per point 3).
Armoury builds should be about changing ROLE - tank/heal/dps/group/solo/pve/pvp and curse (ww/vamp) and mundus stone and CP setup.

The Armory Assistant should store the gear with their gear storage space being in addition to bank space.

The amount of gear storage space the Armory Assistant will have for each character will be determined by how many armory slots that character has unlocked. This would include space for poisons.

Absolutely This should be a feature. I know Guild Wars 2 is a different game. But you CAN do this.
''equipment panel now has tabs for multiple armour builds. When gear is equipped to an equipment tab, it is also stored in this tab, removing all the items from your inventory.''
It can not be that hard to implement this option.
Saves us having to physically carry tons of Gears-Builds, in our inventories taking up room.
Really Hope this is a feature soon.

If it goes straight to the actual bank then yes, why not. It would also make it easier to use the same set on multiple chars, and I don't see any real downsides.

If it goes to a new, armory specific inventory then no. I still want easy access to those items, and having another location where they could be stored wouldn't make things simpler.

Many great improvements could be done to this game, just takes ZOS forever to add them or they never do.
