Will we ever get an official explanation for the reason behind this name change?
Considering the relatively high cost of VO, I'm assuming that this was not something that was done on a whim. Could this be related to the game named "Endless Dungeon" that Sega released a couple of months ago, as a part of their Endless franchise?

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure 'endless' and 'infinite' are synonyms.
Maybe there's a potential buffer overflow with the shorter word so when they fixed it they had a few extra bytes to expand the word, if not the concept? /s1 -
