I'm not really looking to discuss this, Daoin. If you are happy with ZOS severely altering things you paid for that's okay.
But I'm not. I bought the Nerien'eth Pack because of the Nerien'eth visual effect and have no use for Nerien'eth with added red glow. I certainly wouldn't have bought it back then knowing this, and that goes for all other Arms Packs as well.

If you were not looking to discuss it then perhaps starting a discussion thread on the forums is not the best pick of places..I get you are trying to get a response from ZOS, but this is a forum where people will discuss the topics posted....

It's optimistic hoping for a ZOS response imo.
"After a hard week of farming, or a long night of being nagged by your wife, there is nothing better than going out for a bit of a fish."
they will issue a refund. zos is extremely understanding and helpful with these types of things. i purchased a pack before and did not realize the effect was ONLY while it was unsheathed...i thought staff would still glow while it was on my back. they refunded my currency and removed the appearance.
just be patient....i am sure they are busy.

i see on the 21st there was a message saying it works as intended and they are montoring the situation suggesting you knew about the glow before the purchase anyway..not pointing fingers as is only a discussion after all, but also that you had noticed the effects of the glow with armpacks from earlier than this one can i ask why you purchased the pack in the first place knowing the facts anyway ? knowing specifically it would be for the NB (not trying to start an argument before this gets clipped, just curious if my view of timing is all wrong)
it impacts more players than you'd think. the skill is the cornerstone for most nightblade builds in any content that requires you to be dealing damage. it's burst damage that rivals some ultimates. you're frankly throwing if you're purposely not running it. outside of gameplay utility it's a comparable complaint to the animation changes for templar jabs, another hotly disliked change; most don't find it visually appealing at all.FantasticFreddie wrote: »I doubt you will get a refund. Mostly because 1) the arm pack works as intended and 2) the glow you dislike is only present on one class, and only when a specific skill is slotted.
[...] with the most 'helpful' suggestion being 'Well you can just not use the skill and all is well.'

Did customer support really suggest you this as a solution to your problem?
(Did you perhaps forget to mention why it bothers gameplaywise additionally to the money you already spend? Not expecting you to simply forget to mentioning your reason but...that answer is just ridiculous.)
