The problem is that ZOS is absolutely trash at teaching new players how to play their game.
It should be absolutely basic knowledge how to use the chat, the grouping tool and what composition is needed for what, but it just isn't taught anywhere in the game.
Obviously they're gonna have problems in content that isn't brain dead easy.
Claiming ZoS don't teach players well won't change the fact.le?
And if ZOS did find ways to properly teach players, it would certainly help.

I think reading tutorials is cheating. I like to play games hardcore. I never pay any attention to the starting tutorials in games.
As a result I played for years with no knowledge of how things worked. I was happy, but probably caused no end of frustration for other players who happened to end up in a group with me.
I just learned how to scry properly yesterday. Could have saved myself hours of wandering around if I had only read the tutorials.
I would never do that in a group, instead I'd just stay with the group. When I mentioned earlier in the thread that I was glad I'd found out about this handy shortcut for endeavours, I should also have mentioned that I've always done this dungeon solo, so my shortcuts affect nobody.Sight... Another random normal has gone wrong in FG1. I lead the group to the entire dungeon fighting every boss... but there was that 1 person who decided to jump into the water after the first boss fights to skip all of the mini-bosses to fight with the last... by the time we got up to the crab boss.. that person who can't be bothered to follow the group has already finish fighting the last boss... the rest of the group members who actually did all the boss was denied the last boss loot (The only boss that drops weapons) because we weren't able to cause damage to the boss.
This is affecting other people's gameplay when players are able to skip the mini-bosses.
Please be considerate people

There is a flip side to that coin. If the other 3 group members want to skip the bosses and jump off the waterfall, isn't the 4th member who wants to do every single boss the inconsiderate one?
People have been cheesing this dungeon for such a long time by completing it quickly by skipping the rest of the bosses after fighting the first by heading in this direction (as shown in the photo) and jumping into the water to swim to the last boss. This prevents new players from exploring the dungeon.

"This prevents new players from exploring the dungeon. "
I can understand what you want to say....but I disagree.
Basically say...random grouping tool is not for the totally noob players.
If you're really noob player, then you had better gather your ally on the field by the zone chat.
And tell them playing style what you want to do. That's the first and basic group mission
tutorial for the noob.
