?I didn't mean to be salty, the nerf exists and, in my opinion, will be good for PVP, as it will be less overwhelming for beginners to fight Nirn opponents.
Nobody cares about Pillar of Nirn in PvP and nobody complains about it, the nerf was motivated purely by PvE.
Please don't bring PvP in this situation, PvErs are already very keen to jump on the "PvP ruining sets used in PvE" bandwagon every time anything happens to one of their toys.
Obvious combat adjustments ZOS needs to make to balance the meta:
- Master DW needs to scale on WD/SD
- Elemental Susceptibility morph needs a cost (it's a stronger offensive skill than most DOTs)
- Vateshran Destruction staff proc needs the cooldown removed but the beam should stop if you swap bars (this will tone down Vate Ice staff; it's dumb that a defensive weapon is simultaneously the source of your best offensive DOT)
Please don't sleep on these ZOS, we want more build diversity.

First crit damage stacking has got to a point where even in 7 inpen classes like a kitty nightblade can still kill you in before you can cc break even with 35-40k hp and 30k+ resist. this forces us to use sets like rally cry. I propose we need crit damage in pvp or buff inpen trait.
Second thing is sorc healing. I main sorc and its beyond frustrating that we are the only class without a instant heal. The damage has got so intense that with out stacking things like pale order which doesnt work in groups and other no class heals you will instantly fall over. Dark deal is our only heal with a cast that can be bashed easly or get stuck in animation. I really think dark deal needs to be instant cast just like every other class heal.

Even as someone that stacks Crit Dam I agree with this. Impen needs to be un-nerfed and we need a Crit Resist Mundus (easy to create by combining Warrior and Mage into a single bonus; it is one of the final hold-outs of un-hybridized stats remaining in the game).

Sorry this just doesn't make sense, there isn't a single ability altering weapon that prevents its use after you bar swap and for good reason. That would be a terrible idea.Vateshran Destruction staff proc needs the cooldown removed but the beam should stop if you swap bars (this will tone down Vate Ice staff; it's dumb that a defensive weapon is simultaneously the source of your best offensive DOT)
I don't really think Vateshran staff is defensive? Literally nothing about it is defensive. It is all offensive. Besides, making that one weapon set the only one that only functions on that bar would suck. It would be confusing for players that it's the only one that doesn't continue functioning and would be weird to implement around a time when they're finally removing the restraints of bar swapping.
It seems folks want it reigned in because PVP, that's cool and fine, throw a cost on it, but don't make it stop functioning when you bar swap, that just sucks.

It's also not a defensive skill, the ability in nature is offensive by reducing your enemies armor so you deal more damage to them.
I get people don't like the meta, but think of a different solution please.

- We’ve limited the amount of combat balance changes in this update while we continue to evaluate changes from the previous update, but you can expect a number of bug fixes for combat abilities, item sets, and a number of areas across the entire game.
- Don’t expect a lot of balance adjustments this update; we’re slowing down to let changes to values and functionalities “bake” longer so we can get more robust data and patterns before adjusting anything – but that doesn’t mean there are none to be had this update.
