✭✭✭✭Bow/Lightning/Fire/Ice Staff with 5200 penetration. ShatteringLightning staff, for Ember. They should eventually do golden weapons for all the companion's main weapons. Gear is too role specific, but weapons are more companion specific. Even if you use a companion for an non-main weapon, you can still use those on other companions.
For me the golden ring was practically useless, as it was too specific with the trait. Traits for weapons are easier to figure out, and be useful.0 -

Whereas when set as damage dealer, she dies rapidly.
Haven't tried tank yet, but her healing is extreme.0 -

i was always suspicious of the increase dmg one and kind of tended toward quickened anyway to reduce cooldowns so they can fire attacks more
reading posts on your research just cemented my own hyopthesis lol, i just dont really bother optimizing my own companion gear as much lolplays PC/NA
