Also they haven't finished standardization yet. How about 100 daily quests from the Undaunted (each one)?

This is disrespectful to those players who have come a long way to get this achievement earlier. I think such players deserve a compensation.

Those of us who grinded Vet Ranks before ZoS removed them.
CP 2.0 and newbies getting a much easier time levelling up compared to CP 1.0, let alone vet ranks.
Account wide achievements for those who Earned achievements on Alts.
Maelstrom dropping the "vet" weapons on normal instead now.
It goes on and on, that's just a part of constantly updating games.
Not once has ZoS compensated players for it.

Well, what compensation are we talking about if it could be possible? Money, exp of anything out of Jee-Lar quests theme are just offtopic things - really I can't imagine why I'm eligible for getting some money just because I did the achievement earlier. So do you want to get 10 more Jelly parts? Me neither

but there's still the perfected ones in Maelstrom that only drop from vet difficulty

Yeah, so now you need to run vMA again to recollect the perfected ones, while running vet prior to that update would have given you the non-perfected versions.
So not only do you lose your previous 'progression', you now have to do it all over again for some slightly better versions.
They are saying in their post that it used to be 50 achievement points and is now 15 achievement points. I think that might be what they are upset about. (That's my interpretation of their post).
I don't really see any reason why ZOS can't change it back to 50 achievement points. It's not like the points themselves are a type of currency; they are mostly just a symbol of how much you did in the game. It wouldn't affect anything to increase it back.
I'm not OP, so they are free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the original statement OP was making was to have compensation for the missing Achievement Points you get from completing an achievement?

I think it still does that? didn't they make a change to trials and such a while ago where obtaining a perfected piece of equipment now also unlocks the regular one? I think it was alongside the change that you can already starting wearing perfected pieces while you still have non-perfected pieces equipped but without disrupting the set bonuses in the process.
not sure tho
