I miss the times where it took several months to max lvl even if you played hardcore. Now people complain if they dont have max combat lvl, max crafting level and legendary gear after a month. its really sad

Elder Scrolls Grind,
not a true TES game at all.
I'm VR 9 now, and I'm so god damn sick of doing quesssssssssssstsssssssssss.
Hmmmm why rush? I mean, really. This is the attitude of people I see in many MMOs that have an impatient attitude. All they see is the destination - not the journey. So you "HAVE" to do other faction quests?
It's an MMO. It's a bit more 'realistic' in some things (fall damage immediately comes to mind).
In WoW, I could fall from a pretty high place and still survive.
In ESO, - BANG! Dead.
Veteran Content is designed to challenge you and your character build.
When leveling ANY toon, the style of play and the stat priorities change.
In other MMOs, healing is dead easy while leveling. Cast the occassional heal on the tank, top up everyone else, and you're golden.
But when you hit Level Cap - 5 levels, it all changes.
Mana requirements don't scale at the same rate. Damage spikes increase.
It's DIFFERENT.
End content builds are almost always different.
And it's an MMO. You aren't meant to be able to Solo EVERYTHING.
Sure, small mobs of 2-3 are okay. But it's designed to be run with a group - at least 2 people.
Join a guild. Run with friends. Wait for random players to show up and run with them.
When they first talked about Veteran zones I envisioned them as an optional alternate advancement kind of scenario...I never thought they would be implemented as a requirement to be considered "end-game".
Just as a reminder to everyone: Craglorn is for veteran-rank 11-12. In other words, in order to hit veteran rank 12, the new max level, you will have to do Craglorn which is a group-only zone.

Where do you get this junk from? VP is VP. You can get it from killing mobs and from PvP. How is craglorn the only way to hit VR12?

Questing is the only way to hit VR10 in a timely manner. It's a fairly safe assumption that questing in Craiglorn will be the only good way to level VR10-12 even with the doubled player kill VP in PvP. (Doubling almost nothing is still just meh)
It never ceases to amaze me when people complain that there's too much content and some of it is too challenging.

To sum it up: VR needs to be revamped. I am only halfway into VR 1 and already given up on leveling. It's too time consuming and boring. It took a month to hit 50; I'm not interested (as well as a vast majority of players) in leveling throughout my time in this game. I'd like to PVP and do raids as what is usually intended once you hit max level, but I can't do that because the grind is TOO much.
remove VR and put in Realm Ranks!
Kinda funny seeing complaints that it takes too long and is boring, and complaints that it rewards nothing... Then don't make it your focus. Do what you enjoy in the game and get the vet xp slowly as it comes.
I enjoy vet content, I am vet 9 and it was a blast.
For most people that are playing the ELDER SCROLLS tittle, it is not the destination that matters, but the journey there.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9WOdnR-NfsI was really looking forward to rolling an alt and seeing the game from the point of view of the other factions. All that has been ruined now as Im being forced to play through the other stories with my existing character.

Because some people don't like to spending months on end in a video game leveling up in an attempt to reach REAL content (hard concept to grasp huh?). I enjoy PVP and to be successful in PVP you need VR level or you just get 2-3 shotted.
P.S. eat a ***.
P.S.S Leveling 10 nonsense levels is hardly content (For those PVE/RP fgts) . Its all recycled material. And if you honestly find enjoyment out of grinding those levels; I seriously feel bad for you.

Complain about something that meant to be hard to achieve and long term to be actualy hard to achieve and long term ?
If you realy not interested in farm, grinding, leveling and questing why dont you go play something like Heroes of Newerth or Counter Strike ?
This is just redicilous.
Obviously, you are doing it wrong.
I got vr1 and half way to vr2 before i even left Coldharbour.
Now im doing quests simply for achivements and skill points. Not really up to achieve max level as fast as possible. I have no problems with my vr4 atm. Can play PVP or do anything else just fine.
If you want fast level up go for PVP or farm dungeons. This is realy the fastest way.
You know, when I first ordered this game, I was like, cool, after I get to 50 I can just explore the other factions territories, I was completely unaware that I am pretty much starting over....which is just ridiculous. They should have just left the other areas as lvl 50, and then let us do adventure zones like craglorn. And I am understanding this right, there are NO adventure zones in this game yet? Did the game seriously launch with not a single operation / raid zone? If so, that is just ridiculous....tordr86b16_ESO wrote: »VR - Forcing you to do every quest, every dolmen and every world boss to progress to the next rank and to top it off, you have to clear TWO factions worth of quests.
