Kill 150 Players daily?

Kill 40 can be done soloing 40 enemies but for efficiency it requires help from others, like siege in a wall breach. It's not just your AOE causing the mass kills, it's help.

    And it doesn't require being grouped.

    I have many days where I can't get 40 kills completed because the campaign is dead at the time I can play. It's annoying now so I can only imagine how much more annoying it will be after this patch. I won't even be doing the kill quest anymore.

    you can certainly cap a keep solo, it just takes a really really long time lol

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    This is stupid. Nobody will accept the quest. They'll just abandon it and spam the questgiver until they get a different daily, or wait until a group member shares "capture 3 keeps" or "capture 9 resources", or even one of the "kill 20 {class}" quests. Fix the grouping bug by all means, but the total number doesn't need much (or any) increase.

    That's as maybe, but what kind of incentive to play is that? Quests in a game should be a decent balance of "do some stuff; get a reward". For PvP they can actually define play time - fine, I'll stay on for another keep capture so I can finish my daily. But I'm probably not going to stay on for another 120 kills, especially in a quiet campaign where that would take ages.

    Perhaps the answer would be to have the number of kills required scale with the combined enemy campaign population. So if there are only 3 AD and 5 EP on when you pick up the quest, you only need 4 kills; if there are 200 enemies, you need 100 kills. Or whatever scaling of kills to population gives an average completion time of (say) 1 hour.

    As someone who generally PVP's off prime time, where its generally only 1 faction with any population, kill 40 is already often a multi hour ordeal simply because there either are no enemies, or the enemies are all tanks that just cold fire siege and stage 4 invis run away (or more recently, beena lot of 'queue out of the fight' tomfoolery of late too, never thought people would be so upset to die in cyro lol).
    Whether solo, duo, or full grouped up, there just isnt a population in off hours to support 150 kills outside of mayhem. This just hurts peoples ability to actually do conquests if they arent prime time players.

    I do understand fixing the kills counting (in my duo often only one of us would finish the kill 40, the other would be sitting at maybe 3-4 kills). But is it a problem if people complete a conquest in cyrodiil? particularly when pvp is in the state that it is in? This feels like a bad play by ZOS imo.

    150? Good grief. I am a solo (occasionally duo) casual player who is largely rubbish at PvP. It takes me nearly a week to manage 40 kills.

    You can do the quest exactly once a day. But the Conquest Mission board doesn't give you the same quest out of four possible consecutively, so you may not even be offered the Kill 40/150 the next day.

    ZOS logic: 'These players are completing this once a day quest way to quickly! We must make it so they can only complete it once a day! Wait.... well, at least keep it a daily, but make it take a week to complete for solo players, and keep them blocked from doing the other three Conquest dailies until they finish it!'
