stamina warden and magicka warden are fairly similar except magicka warden can provide brittle and is ranged dps with double frost staves. so in terms of raw dps output they're pretty similar, but frost warden offers more utility and range and stamina warden has a bit more damage output provided you can keep uptime on the boss. they're both viable in high end content, but in terms of rankings they're some of the worst dps of any class. this shouldn't disuade you from picking either since them being worse than other classes only really matters for scorerunning which is a very very small percentage of the already small percentage of higher end players.

I fear you are right.

The abundance of block/heal Warden tanks in pvp will annoy enough players to get PW nerfed, eventually. What bugs me about this is my warden is a balanced build leaning toward offensive capability, (not a 40k health healtank) and PW is not op on my build, it’s just strong enough to keep me competitive. Unfortunately, this level of consideration seems absent from skill adjustments.

Meanwhile, a skilled NB spamming refreshing path gets strong heal + major exp in one ability…. but because fewer people are abusing it, I don’t see it ever getting adjusted.
