Addon is showing the correct xp each time. I've checked this with my xp bar after each kill. I've got eberything jotted down on paper.

1. With crit (1-2 hits)
2. Slow, with multippel hits (8-10 hits)
Then, the XP gain, must be checked on the ORIGINAL XP bar (not any addon)

So In theory...my build is going to take twice as long to level up my character then an arse tird button mashing melee smashing tank.
Actually, no. Assuming there are enough monsters to kill continually, you will both take the same time to level up. Because you get the same experience per hour as the button smashing tank, you will level at the same speed. You will just kill more monsters than he will.
Example:
Monster has 100 hp
One attack takes one second
Your attack does 100 damage, you get 10XP for the kill
Tank's attack does 10 damage, tank gets 100XP for the kill.
You: takes 1 hit to kill one monster. You kill one every second, so in 10 seconds you will kill 10 monsters, and get 10x10=100 XP for it.
Tank: takes 10 hits to kill one monster. He kills one every 10 seconds and gets 100xp for it.
10 seconds = 100 xp for both.
Incorect. Because you're not taking into consideration that it doesn't take 0seconds to find/run to/engage the next monster...

I am not taking into consideration a lot of things. It was a very simplified lab-conditions example whose sole purpose was to explain why a tank getting twice the experience for a kill than an assassin does not automatically mean the tank will level twice as fast as the assassin.

Ummm but it does? Because if you factor in the other conditions your logic is incorrect. Where as if you factor them into mine it proves my logic correct and also puts the NB at a GREATER disadvantage.

I got 19exp for 1st kill, 20exp for 2nd.

2nd Bear with Bow skills. Both show same exp gained.

This thread needs to be taken down people are ticking insightful and most likely think this is how it works and are now trying to get as many hits as they can on things now =/
I just tried it myself how much damage/speed/hits has nothing to do with exp gains.

You could be right with this.
However 3xp for a 2shot kill but jumps to over 100xp 4shots or more? That's a tad excessive.

You now have multippel testresults that shows similar XP regardless of number of hits.
On a sidenote, the last test shows us that a shared kill gives 66.66% XP, compared to killing it alone.
I flagged this very person, OP, for making multiple discussions about how they forced him to name change, his in-game character was "btchtitz". And also in these discussions he is actually being aggressive and naming people who actually tries to help him. And this discussion sounded to me, a child who got upset about being forced to change name and trying to insult game in any way he can to get revenge till he got banned. I suggested devs an ignore forum feature to keep community clean and mature.
