    Cthulhu would be interesting...

Well, actually not. No one survives that sort of thing. Maybe a lesser minion or two, though.

Yes, but only if they allow class change tokens.
I only have two characters, one I love and one I don't and I am not looking to create a third character.

I'll take an Arcanist for a spin on the PTS and if I like it, I will keep my fingers crossed for a class change token to use on the character I don't love.

Otherwise nope, not likely to go there.

I have 0 desire to comb through the same quests and zones I've already done multiple times for skill points
I have 0 desire to plod at turtle speeds while I do daily mount training which generally means I park the alt at a stablemaster and just log in once a day for half a year.
I have 0 desire to train crafting on a new character

I still have 2-3 characters that I've barely touched they're just both at level 50 because of how stale repeating the same quest lines and delves is.. after having them just camp a stablemaster for half a year before I used them at all as it is.

New class requiring new character was one of the last things I could have desired from a new chapter.
I don't even have a necromancer because of these things.

I will just powerlvl it and buy all skillines and skyshards. Should have it fully ready within a couple hours of release.

I've already created a new "name place-holder" character so I have the name I want before the class comes out. Always hate it when I think of a great character name, only to find it's 'already in use'. Just delete the place-holder character and create new with new class and chosen name. Yay!!

Excited about the new class tho, but wondering what outfit color combination I can come up with for all the glowy green animations. Nightblade - Red, Templar - Gold, Neco - Dark Purple/Blue. I had the same problem with Warden and 'green'... really never felt I got that color scheme right.

Also excited about new Companions... especially with one being of the new class. Really want a Necro companion, although could companions get bounties?!? Hmmmm.

My vote was more, “yes, because I always try new things”, than “looking forward to it”. The grind is a depressing prospect, but not so much that I will not do it. I have done with a lot of alts already.

Definitely. The First thing I'll do when the chapter is released is create an Arcanist. I might not immediately go the new zone however, to avoid the crush, and the speed runners.

I'm even in the process of getting a home ready for her...

I am not looking for it but I will propably play it due to two reasons. it will be propably broken especially in PvP for first few patches and it's worth to play some class for a whil;e to understand it which may be helpfull when facing against it while playing on different class.

Maybe, I'll see when the time comes. Im not exactly looking forward to it, but, if it plays differently than the others, it may be worth trying out. Im not if it's just recycled and reskinned abilities. They did say in the reveal that it would bring new combat, so, the jury is out.

I feel this new update will be better received if you offered 3 new skill lines that revolves around finding black books and earning the black books through the storyline and other side quest. Allowing both new and vet players to expand in both lore and their builds. This saves spaces and resources as well for not needed a new character slot or the wasted time of logging out to switch gear and ect.

Balance wise this opens up many opportunities to allow for other classes to catch up if they feel under performing as well instead of making yet another class you have to Balance with the previous poorly balanced ones.

You still have time to fix this:
    1. Change from new class to 3 new deadirc skill lines utilizing the arcanist as a guild line for the deadric prince.
    2. Add black books to the quest that unlock the new skills and morphs making the storyline worth playing.
    3. Bring some level of difficulty or vet play for the questline to feel like an immersive threat to be played solo or with guild mates/friends while testing your new abilities.

Maybe, but not looking forward to the grind.
I'd like to specify that I'm an altaholic but I never level my alts very far. They're usually just character ideas that I eventually get bored with.

My favorite alt has actually had several reiterations : at first he was a Sorcerer, then I remade him from scratch (again as a Sorcerer), then I remade him as a magicka-based Templar as I thought it fit his backstory more.

Now, the thing is: I've made him in TESV as well, and the backstory was that he was a powerful healer (hence the most recent Templar reiteration) during the Three Banners War, then he disappeared and resurfaced centuries later after having wandered through Apocrypha where time flows differently. So you see, the Arcanist is actually THE class for him. I'm therefore considering remaking him YET AGAIN, this time as an Arcanist, and to be honest it's not the level grinding I'm not looking forward to, it's all the quests I've already completed but will feel compelled to complete again.

One thing is certain: I WILL be making an Arcanist char on PTS as soon as Necrom comes to PTS.

    Yes, I'll create an alt.

I also want to see if the portal skill won’t be more effective than the wizard’s "Bolt Escape" for farming craft dailies.
