We need more PvE Siege

I think Siege weapons are critically under used in PvE content. I think ZOS should use them way more in quests, and they could even add a new minigame that uses siege weapons! Anyone else want a multiplayer, tower defense minigame vs NPC waves? Sounds more fun to me than a card game...

Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment and comment on some great quests that I remember from my ESO adventures that happened to use Siege weapons. Post below if there are any other minor/memorable usages of siege in PvE or if you also enjoy lobbing some ballista at NPCs!
  1. Pelidil's End
I remember this quest being one of the first ones I completed, being part of the AD base game questline, and it always stuck with me because of the fight on the boat and the Sea Serpent! I remember thinking that firing Siege weapons from the boat was so cool! Looking back, lol, it could be vastly improved (you don't even get to aim the siege weapons), but it has stuck with me all these years. Truly a great quest.
  2. The Crystal Tower
I loved this quest! It might be my favorite quest line in the game! The Court of Bedlam, fighting Nocturnal, wielding Dawnbreaker, climbing the tower. The quests really felt like there was legit weight to the stakes and the Daedric Prince's champions helped ground the plot. Plus, the whole tower was fun to climb and using siege to blast a hole was minor, but memorable!

I feel like this clip sums up my thoughts on the siege parts xD https://youtu.be/WNjHDaweGo4?t=1388

Ooooh, I like the idea of a tower defense mini-game, that might be a lot of fun as long as it isn't the same every single time. If it could be coded to be somewhat unpredictable or responsive to the players tactics, that would be especially interesting.

As someone who likes to both PVP and PVE, I do love my siege engines and making things go boom XD

    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause

while the quest takes place in IC, it is still a 100% instance pve quest
the final quest you do in IC story for the drake of blades has a section where you actually do use a fire ballista to defeat a daedra horde trying to break their way into the temple, and then after so many of them are killed it progresses to the next step (there is no really way to fail this but its kind of sort of a tower defense style thing)

i do wish we could actually use siege weapons in pve where you have to aim and fire them like in the IC quest or cyrodiil
i was slightly disappointed by the one galen story quest when you have to launch the ballistas at the boats, it was kind of a letdown not being able to actually "use" the siege yourself but you just did an interact prompt which made it feel underwhelming and less impactful

A tower defense game that uses the sieges would be cool (also give us a way to use up the random sieges that clutter inventory space and that zos seems to not want to allow to stack). It would definitely be more interesting than the card game and would help with inventory issues, making it a win win imo.
