Update: We are wrapping up maintenance now and the PC NA and EU megaservers will be reopening momentarily. For visibility, you should not experience any rollbacks based on the issues from this morning. This means you may need to redo any Endeavors that had previously been reset and you can keep any items you had acquired (outside of any abusive one-off situations). We'll be keeping an eye on everything once we open and will provide any additional updates as needed.

I probably should have read the thread first, but I was busy playing with the bbcode, because I was busy testing if I could make the >> link to the correct comment, lol.

(I understand, it's a small indie company and an f2p game, but still /s)
Since when is ESO f2p? Last time I checked, I had to buy the game.

Some players used the bugs yesterday to reset crown crates/endeavors/login rewards by changing zone.
They are able to get multiple crown gems/items, seals of endeavors and login rewards by using the bugs.
And they still have it after the maintenance because of no rollbacks.
So is it okay to use the bugs without any punishment?
That's unacceptable.
So he will get a ban probably. ZOS wrote: "you can keep any items you had acquired (outside of any abusive one-off situations)" - so they won't punish people just for geting things 2-4 times (some people may don't even know what's going on and they exploited it accidentaly), but if someone used exploit dozen of times in short time, then well - situation is quite clear.i saw a guy showing off that he's got thousands of Chromium Plating

with all due respect this is UNACCAPTABLE @ZOS_GinaBruno. How do you define "abusive one-off situations"? I thought ZOS is strict on exploit/abuse situations. So if there is a similar glitch in the future we are all OK for non-abusive exploit? Please check all logs manually for the glitch, this will be difficult but the devs should be responsible. It is unfair and lowers the trust.
my 2¢

So you want them to ban all the players that logged in during the time those bugs occured?
Because it wasn't even possible to play the game and not "exploit a bug" at that time. And you could only notice that something is wrong after it already happened, or for most cases even not realise it.
The way Gina described it to be handled is the best way possible IMHO.
