Every class has a spammable. But if you think spamming jabs is all a Templar does, then you really haven’t played the class imo.
Yep, and I run 5 other skills in my rotation excluding things like heals or shields. I've never understood the 'one button jabs' sentiment about templars

Played the class for over 3 years. I have all gold gear and have Tanked many vet dungeons and done many Vet Dungeons as DPS. I know there is a rotation but seriously the main thing is spamming jabs.

I played it for a while but got so bored of just doing that. Yes, I know about the rotation but you seriously can get similar DPS by popping a few DOTS then spamming rhe ever living oblivion out of jabs. Is that fun to you all?
Templars in PVP are even worse. They only ever do jabs and when you meet a group of them in BG they sound like a ball of insane people just yelling constantly while stabbing you with a golden spear. They also tend to be the class that will attempt to trash talk the most as if them killing you with jabs takes skill.
This post is partly a rant but also part a serious question/curiosity. Let me know

It's such a boring class that takes no effort to use in pvp, such an awful class to use in pve unless you're a healer, but even then that's what Wardens are for.
Yes, I enjoy the class very much. It's one of the classes, along with magblade, that has the basics covered by their class toolkit. It has a gap closer that's actually good, an execute, a burst heal. Reactive skills that you need in PvP and that make the solo and group arenas fun to play. I prefer skills that do not tie you into sleepwalking through a practiced rotation, but that let you react to what's happening, even if that's mostly only relevant in PvP and not efficient in PvE. Thank god for Sweeps' damage, because I abhor rotations when it comes right down to it. Next patch templar looks to be a disaster for me personally. I was relying on it for PvE. You can limit yourself to spamming Sweeps, but you can have fun with the class in a way that, with some other classes, you frankly can't.Jarl_Ironheart wrote: »I'm not trying to be sarcastic or a wise guy but I am so curious to know if people really find templar fun.
