North American server: Characters not loading

3/31/2022 a little after 8 p.m. EST. Experiencing extremely long character load screens on PC North American server. My sibling is also having same problem. In fact, characters loading seems to be infinite, as characters have not loaded. Get successful account log-in to character selection screen, then select character, the "requesting character load" goes on and on and on, without character loading.
Edit:
- Now can't get account log-in on North American server.
- On EU server, account log-on and character selection work. All guildmates on EU server report no problems.

zharkovian✭✭✭Exactly same issue here, Pacific North West. Probably due to ZoS cutting costs and taking 24 Commodore 64s out of their server array. I don't think they actually understand the frustration that "not getting into the game" is causing for a lot of us, a few higher end daily rewards for April might be an idea, but if people cannot log into the game, what is the use?0

same, cannot access pcna. multitude of issue including login timeout, unable to connect to game server, and the notorious 1 sec login queue, followed by this account is already logged in....1

Rare that I get to character select screen and the one time I did I got kicked back to login screen after waiting for "requesting character load" for several minutes. Now it keeps telling me I was removed from the lobby or account is already logged in. This is happening too often to be commodore 64s. I think they are using trs 80s.1 -

No one in Guild can get into ESO. Those who were in game about 8:15 have all crashed hard to desktop.
Either people can't login because they get a "no internet message," are told their launcher needs Repair, or login but get an endless Que, or get an endless load screen when trying to load a character.

AndASM✭✭Did the new apparently non-redundant Ethernet port on the apparently non-redundant database server die again? You know, in the implied-to-be monolithic character database that apparently wasn't ever properly partitioned?
Or is this just the normal performance issues that have been going on for several years?
Or maybe it's a denial of service attack? Given the lack of industry-standard scaling and performance features, one might come to the conclusion that the service would be very susceptible to such things.1 -

Kravens✭✭I appreciate the heads up Gina Bruno. But this is a re-occurring issue. This should have been more permanently fixed last time. Some people don't get much time to sit at a computer and play games. I'd love if I could just log in and do what I wanted to so I can go to bed.
