FPS drops in cities and outside.

After the latest patch, I've gone from having a constant 60 fps (v sync) to it dropping as low as 15. Now that would be fine if I had experienced this before, but ESO is the only game I see this in and have never experienced it before. I have lowered my settings to minimum, turned off all addons, removed and placed my GPU, cleaned any dust on any fans, turned off and on multithreaded rendering, reinstalled the driver for my card and cleared my shaders cache. There are no new hardware/software changes.

You can find some further troubleshooting steps listed here.

Would you be able to post your full system specifications?

This information can be found by creating a DxDiag report.

I have tried all of the things mentioned in that post. I am also not the only one who is experiencing these drops, this includes people with more powerful cards than mine. I would also like to mention that whenever I log onto my "main", every single boss, POI, Dolmen and wayshrine is Undiscovered and then slowly rediscovers it, during this time, it also drains the fps, this even happens when I relog to the same character. As well as my eso+ disappearing even though I purchased it on the 9th of this month and having it for a few weeks, coincidently I lost it the day the NA database went down.

Already been posted. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/600064/low-fps-any-suggestions#latest and https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/599878/fps-after-patch

Good luck getting a response from ZOS that isn't "it's you, not us". Not sure why they even waste our time and theirs with the pointless, unhelpful posts. The issue isn't related to your addons, so no need to bother disabling those. Seems to be a multithreading issue related to 6+ core CPUs. Every other variable has been different (such as the end user's GPU) and/or isolated and tested against.

Thank you for providing your system specifications. There does not seem to be anything wrong with your system. Since you are also having an issue with your ESO Plus disappearing, we recommend starting a ticket with customer support.

I also noticed a HUGE fps drops in big cities, a lot of stuttering, it makes that fast moves or doing basic activities impossible without stopping in place and waiting each few seconds. Running to cities is now after patch a complete disaster. I have to avoid big cities to avoid the problem. This wasn't happening before last patch. I didn't change anything in settings or addons, all are updated.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with our computers, but only with the last patch. Please ZOS do something and rework this patch, find the bugs and solve our problems a.s.a.p. without directing us to customer support.

Because, sadly, CS does nothing constructive. To each of my questions sent to Support in a same conversation last few days I was getting four replies from four different ZOS employees. Each was giving me different recommendations and suggestions. Only the 4-th employee finally provided the information I was looking for (did not solve the problem but at least gave something solid).

That link seems like directing to a problem described as a memory leak.
First reported in 2016 and never really gotten fixed untill 2020, when the necro topic was closed by ZOS.
I'm sure this actual problem is not a memory leak, unless the patch has made it to happen.

Just adding my voice to the crowd. Game ran smooth as silk right until update 33. I tried adjusting settings, removing all Add-Ons, updating video drivers, and even completely reinstalling the game. Absolutely nothing helped. This is a beefy system: Windows 10, 32GB, 32 cores, 2 1080Ti's in SLI. Game has been running perfect for a whole year.

    Symptoms:

    - massive stuttering in cities. FPS drops to sub-20 until I stop moving. The problem doesn't get better no matter how much time I spend running around. It's almost like it's supposed to be caching textures, but never does.

    - nearly 80% of the time when I'm running in Alinor across the bridge, the game switches to a "loading" kind of screen for a couple seconds, then comes back to game. (this happens in other cities, but less consistently)

    - the Undaunted enclave outside of Wayrest takes up to 30 seconds to finish loading, every time I go there. It starts with tents, but NO people, and as I stand there it slowly loads NPCs, player characters, etc.

    - dungeons seem mostly fine, nothing I've noticed anyway.

Please fix this ZOS, it's seriously ruining the immersion of the game for me.

Same thing I mentioned in another thread. After the Nvidia DLSS feature was added, game ran like a dream, especially in cities. Ever since this DLC update, the milestone performance that was added with those NVIDIA features, was virtually gone. Or so I thought...

Fortunately, this post solved my issue. Something was changed without my input as a user with a 8 Core CPU (i9900k) with the DLC update. Editing my User Settings config fixed it entirely.

It's not really a memory leak it's more like that the game is not cleaning unused/unseen assets/textures/etc.
