For me its the "upper canton" vivec city in morrowind, also the cross road passages in frostvault- no matter how many times ive run that i end up running aimlessly for a bit (directionally challenged i guess 😆)

There are a few of the newer delves that contain Dailies that definitely require repetition to get myself a route that I stick to.

Traitor's Vault was probably the first of those I came across, now it takes me less than a couple of minutes, especially if some kind person has cleared the mobs! 😃

I am also "directionally challenged" 🤣

Vivec is the worst laid out city in the game. I can never find the daily quest givers and don't even try any more. The only good part is the crafting area.

Entering and leaving Cyrodiil, once I figured it out, I was settled. Same for entering and leaving Imperial City.
E.g.to enter Cyrodiil I thought I had to enter it like any other zone, by riding up to a gate at an adjacent province.

Drop Tables. Some things are superstitions and something things are legends. Been looking for the Shivering Cheese Recipe so long, several years really. Didn't know if it exists, and it probably doesn't, but if it does it's somewhere in a Morrowind stongbox.

Seems I am a minority who don't find Vivec city confusing at all, and handing in quests is super easy by just following the marker.

Worst goes to some Summerset delves, Morrowind public dungeons, and other places with very large and mazy layouts.

Thieves Guild Heists and Dark Brotherhood Sacraments. They've got multiple levels on top of each other so the map is all sorts of confusing and sometimes even places that don't show up on the map until you've found them.

    There's a reason I don't do those dailies.

not to mention some of the targets even appear behind walls you can go through sometimes lol (there is at least 1 heist map that literally has a wall that you can walk through which has a potential "hidden cache" spawn location)

the only reason it doesnt bother me as much is cause ive done so many of them at this point lol

Disagree; it was worse in Morrowind, because then all the cantons were finished so there were more of them, there were more layers you had to interact with instead of just Waistworks/Upper Canton, and there were no quest markers to guide you to your destination.

The only improvements were the existence of the Levitation and Mark and Recall spells to skip over most of the navigation.

I find navigation extremely simple in this game. Might be because I'm a Might and Magic / SMT veteran and the complexity of dungeons in those series is on a whole different level. Wouldn't mind having to take out pen and paper and draw maps like I used to do but I don't see it happening... the closest thing there is are the Imperial City Sewers and they're nowhere close, only giving one the illusion of intricacy because of the size, but they're actually very linear. They also have multiple access points and can sprint while invisible through them as well.
