Give us a chance to get crafting bag other than ESO+, which forces us to queue for DLC dungeons

Reward for random dungeon is for helping others players get the dungeon they want done. The only reason its 10 transmutes is because you can get harder DLC dungeon. No DLC dungeon in queue = worse reward.
Of course ppl without ESO+ have advantage is they want only farm transmute stones but you can always queue with low level character to dodge the DLC. And u dont need guild for that. You just need to write in zone "Low Level looking for fast random dungeon". And its done.

Well if you really want to opt out from DLC dungeons then thats my idea:

Random Dungeon Reward - 5 (10 without opt out from DLC Dungeons). You get it always on completion of dungeon or after 15min so u dont loose too much if group isnt able beat dungeon. If u get kicked u dont get the reward. Also you always get this reward for doing randoms so u dont need to change to a diffrent character. The only daily reward for randoms would be 100k exp.
Base Game Dungeon Reward - 5. You get it on completion of dungeon.
DLC Dungeon Reward - 15. You get it on completion of dungeon.

So if u get a base game dungeon in random you will get 10 (15 without opt out) transmutes. If u get DLC then its 25. And yes u can just spam nFG1 for those 5 transmutes all time if doing this after Undaunted Celebration still isnt boring.

With this you can add option to opt out from DLC dungeons.

So you can just solo nFG1 to farm transmutes and u dont need to speedrun in randoms and you can just queue for only DLC and get 15 stones when its done. Of course its not ideal but well... there is no such thing that is always perfect.

    Some thoughts:
The reason you always get full reward for random dungeon is simple. You dont get punished for playing a tank. You can just queue 10 dungeons in a row with 1 character and you will get the same reward as the person who is fake tanking on 10 diffrent characters now.
I prefer rewards for completing the dungeon because it adds more freedom. Some ppl prefer doing DLC dungeons and some would rather do only base game. There is still reward for helping others so i think its okay.
Changing how random rewards work make it less punishing when u get a bad group. Right now there is a lot of ppl who leave just because they see a DLC dungeon without even trying. Not long ago i queued with 2 of my friends for vet Cauldron. The 4th player insta left. The thing is the 3 of us have a trifecta in here so there was pretty high chance that he would get it too if he wouldnt leave.

I think this would also encourage real tanks to queue for dungeons with randoms as it wouldnt be so punishing to get a bad group.

    I think thats all.

    Sorry for any mistakes.

People need to get a grip, DLC's on normal are not that hard, many of them are as fast as some of the base game ones. People are just scared of doing them, if they actually did do them they would get to understand how to do them and increase their speed at doing them

DLC dungeons are way too long and incredibly annoying. If they were removed completely from the game, I certainly wouldn't miss them at all. But unfortunately we get two complete quarters of the year with absolutely nothing but this horrible rubbish. :( That also means three gear sets per dungeon, i.e. twelve (!!!) sets every single year just from annoying dungeons.

Gear sets! In a game that already has 30000 of them!

    Why?

Do you do them regularly? I started running more randoms and I'm finding the DLC dungeons quite varied in terms of length.

Thi k you will find that most that moan about dlc dungeons being included in the random list don't actually do them. DLC dungeons have a reputation for being hard and somewhere to avoid, instead people should do them and learn them.

Black Drake Villa, for instance, can be done in about 10 minutes if you skip the secret bosses, maybe 20 minutes if you do them. I don't consider that long

Sure Black Drake Villa can be done so quickly since you can skip a lot of mobs there (without aggroing) and bosses can be nuked relatively quickly. I completed my stickerbook there in a single evening.

But take a dungeon like Lair of Maarselok. So much walking and unnecessarily dragged out boss fights. A 3-phase lurcher, annoying tree that shields itself waay to quickly now, and the dragon fight before final battle. So much waiting....

But even LOM doesn't take that long, but then I live the dlc dungeons and see no reason to be scared of them

Hi, title says it all. I am a crafter and I would love to buy a crafting bag, but I do not want to queue for DLC dungeons. That said the current system discourages crafters to participate in group dungeons, which is a pity in my opinion.

I think the better way would be to drastically reduce or eliminate the random reward for non-ESO+. That way, you wouldn't feel like you would lose anything if you signed up for ESO+. And by the way, this is a reward, not a gift, even for the "risk" of having to run somewhat longer or demanding content.

As a crafter who doesn't subscribe - No.

You need a "DLC dungeon" checkbox in the queue system, not an excuse to get the craft bag without ESO+.

Okay ... Once again ... My theses:

    1) Why do you need crystals and experience if you don't want to try more difficult content?

    2) Why do you need crystals if you do not strive to fill your stickerbook?

    3) It's very easy, ridiculously. Take a look at the forum and see how the rest of the players complain about rushers who just solo any dungeon.

    4) Some vanilla dungeons are as long and boring as dlc. For example, Vollenfell? You just want a "random grotto" button.

I had Red Petal Bastion as a random the other day. It was my first time there and the run took 11 minutes from load screen to "Activity Complete"

This will DEFINITELY not be a popular opinion, but frankly I think after 6 months or so DLC dungeons should be available to everyone in the random queue whether you bought the content or not. They could make it so you still can't go into the dungeon outside the random queue, and maybe you can't take the quest and complete the skill point if you don't own the content.

This way, people trying to do DLC dungeons will get fills easier, more people will learn the DLC dungeons instead of avoiding them ultimately spreading knowledge throughout the community... and best of all these threads about how the queues are different for subscribers and non-subscribers will cease, because the only difference will be that if you don't subscribe you won't have access to the latest few DLC dungeons.

And while the DLC dungeons are brand new they should drop double crystals, spawn triple heavy sacks, and increase motif % drop until they land in the queue for non subscribers to reward folks who buy the DLC.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Cool idea that would certainly be nice but we can't even get them to fix bugs and performance issues. You really think they're just going give away or let you earn the only reason most people pay for the subscription? 🤣🤣

The OP's problem is with dungeon queues, and the solution is not with crafting bags.

Moreover, ZOS know that if they make crafting bags available to non-subscribers then all those many, many, players who have paid subscriptions for several years primarily to get the crafting bag will simply walk away - and with good reason.
