AD finished the campaign with over 100k points on the EU server, they're on a roll right now - can't wait to fight them...looking forward to the beginning of the new campaign there...

things seem to have been as they are over on the NA server for the last few months...truth is - i lose track of those kinda things these days...usually just focused on staying alive, executing rotations and speeding around the map to collect AP...

i may not try to play all 17 toons this campaign, just focus on a few, got my magblades (NA and EU) back to a point where i can do a little brawling without dying, them and a few others are best to play when the map is more populated...during more small scale action i like going with more tanky toons...

thinking of creating a near copy of my stam nercomancer for the NA server...i only have necromancers on the EU server right now...i also haven't collected the free small chest you get for getting a character to level 18 on the NA server...speed level him and once he hits level 50 put him in as much cheese as possible

he's gonna be a chunky, balding, bearded, old dunmer, nobody'll be able to tell though, he'll either be wearing skeleton or xivkyn polys...i'll keep his name the same as the EU toon: Deadman...

actually, my EU stam necromancer isn't really that cheesy at all, he's a SnB/bow in juggernaut, spriggans and sellixtrex...my next stam necro though is gonna have a 2 hander so he can just hack and slash at folks, put him in all medium and try to pump up his damage and execute ability as much as possible...maybe level him in forgotten crypts along with my NA companions and his fighter's guild skills...dawnbreaker is just such a valuable tool for finishing folks off in pvp...

i think this upcoming campaign i'll mostly focus on finishing the hero of wrothgar on both servers and starting fighting toon number 18 (number 11 on the NA server)...

oh, while i was on - got into this epic (and losing) battle at roebeck, all three alliances - ugh, the lag was soooooo terrible...

just kept dying over and over again...by the first indication of incoming damage, i was already on my way to being dead (was playing a stam warden who wears mostly medium)...

the stam warden is naturally tanky, but, that's only if you get a chance to use your skills

so frustrating, just no time to pop a potion (health draught) or hit my defense ultimate (healing thicket)...

it was a gankers paradise out there, lag is really bad, but, it's even worse when you get hit from stealth first...much better to be the one attacking first when there's heavy lag...

i started trying to play more away from the primary battles...did run in to a name a haven't seen for a while, this AD player called ryeful (?), something like that...

they were tearing folks up with their werewolf inside of ash, it was cool to see, heck they got me at least three times in a fairly short period of time...i've fought against them before (they were emp at the time) and remembered how good they were- which made me wanna go fight them even more

seriously, there's nothing more fun than fighting against really good players...i understand my place in the game - i've been pvping in eso for six years now, and i understand the basic mechanics and build theory - but, i am no where near top tier, i switch builds way too often, plus i don't do much dueling except as it happens in cyro...

that doesn't mean i don't like to fight some of the better players on the map though...

it's funny, i don't usually partake in zerging players down - however, there are just some folks that it takes at least a few of you to kill them - and, when it's one of those better players i recognize (not just some exceptional AP farmer or unkillable tank), i'm gonna make sure i'm around for when they finally do drop, so i can dance away on their toon, or enjoy sipping from a chalice, as they lay there dead...

Day 2 and i still havent actually seen a dark convergence yet. Ive seen one Hrothgar on my death recap but it was from a farming group that i accidentally got caught in the crosshairs of, so i would have died anyway.

Also havent seen anyone complaining about the new sets yet, i think people are still just trying to get hold of them.

Stamina NBs still seem ridiculously strong, 7k surprise attacks through block etc. Doesnt feel too different to last patch yet really.

i'm in no real rush...i'll just stick all the new sets in a chest until i figure out how to deploy them amongst my different toons...

dang man, just logged on to my stam dk - ugh, they changed the deadly strike set...son of gun, this was my only toon wearing it, but - that's kind of annoying...

had this stam dk set up in deadly, seventh, and sellistrex, bloodthirsty on a couple of jewels...

oh well, guess it was time to change things up, need to go search and see what sets buff poison damage, or find some different build angle all together...

searched around on the web, not all sites have updated information - goodness knows zos scrambles this stuff up a lot...the reason i'm leaving it here is because for some reason i thought the chilled status effect snared, it doesn't, who knows why i thought it did...

so, not sure how accurate this is at the moment, but, here we go:
Burning
The Burning status can be applied by dealing Fire Damage to a character. When you apply burning status effect on an enemy, they take fire damage over time based on your Max Magicka and Spell damage. Burning effect lasts 4 seconds and ticks every 2 seconds.

Chilled
The Chilled status can be applied by dealing Frost Damage to a character. Chilled enemy suffers from Minor Maim debuff for 4 seconds, reducing their damage by 5%. If you also have an ice staff equipped, this will apply Minor Brittle.

Concussed
The Concussed status can be applied by dealing Shock Damage to a character. Concussed enemy suffers from Minor Vulnerability debuff for 4 seconds, increasing their damage taken by 5%.

Poisoned
The Poisoned status can be applied by dealing Poison Damage to a character. When you apply poisoned status effect on an enemy, they take poison damage over time based on your Max Stamina and Weapon damage. Poisoned effect lasts 6 seconds and ticks every 2 seconds.

Diseased
The Diseased status can be applied by dealing Disease Damage to a character. A diseased enemy suffers from Minor Defile debuff for 4 seconds, decreasing their healing received by 8%.

Hemorrhaging
The Hemorrhaging status can be applied by dealing Bleed Damage to a character. A hemorrhaging enemy suffers from Minor Mangle debuff for 4 seconds, reducing their maximum health by 10%.

Sundered
The Sundered status can be applied by dealing Physical Damage to a character. A sundered enemy suffers from Minor Breach debuff for 4 seconds, decreasing their physical and spell resistance by 2974.

Overcharged
The Overcharged status can be applied by dealing Magic Damage to a character. An overcharged enemy suffers from Minor Magickasteal debuff for 4 seconds, which restores 168 magicka per second to players dealing damage to them.

so, while facing some overwhelming numbers at times lately, if i come upon a seriously "lost" alliance battle, or if i'm able to slink away from a lost cause - i've taken to having some fun on my mount and riding around large groups of enemies to see if i can get folks to chase me...i haven't been caught yet, i know it's coming

you gotta watch for the terrain and know how much ranged dots you and your mount can take - but, as long as you keep an eye on your range and don't run in to any rocks, trees, and a million other things in the way - you can mess with folks...

at times i'll lay on the ground a while to see where people might be headed, i'm fortunate folks react fairly well to my corpse on the ground...i've never been a bagger - but, i've focused on taunting people in pvp for years now...

it's funny to think how some of us die-hard cyrodiil players think about eso and builds and whatnot all throughout the day - even at work, maybe mostly at work

anyways - fair warning everyone - tonight i go shopping, i imagine i'll probably hit 15 or so different guild trader locations on each server - when i go to play this weekend - i wanna have those new sets equipped...

thankfully, i've got a ton of geodes, so, just gonna fill out the sticker books on all three sets and re-create them to gear up the toons i play - good chance, out of the 17 toons i have - pretty much all of them will have some combination of these new sets equipped the next time they play...

the challenge will be with collecting the jewelry and staves...the staves i'm just gonna have to hope some remote guild trader somewhere has it cheap, and, it may just be a lot cheaper purchasing zircon platings (for upgrading superior jewels to epic jewelry) than trying to buy epic hrothgar or darc convergence jewels...

Yesterday I was killed by someone spamming dizzying swing and it was refreshing to die from something other than Dark Convergence.

oh man, for such a "smart" guy, I seem to do plenty of foolish things - finally farmed all that leeching plate stuff, try it on, no dark convergence proc...

re-read the item description for the millionth time, and finally notice:

(5 items) Casting abilities that leave an effect on the ground will create an area that applies a 30% snare and pulls enemies every 2 seconds after a 1 second delay, and stun them for 1 second.

okay, I get it now hrothgar can be procced from a set, but dark convergence can only be procced by an ability...

You know the phrase, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Now it's out of the Dark Convergence and into the Dark Convergence. There is no escape, there is only Dark Convergence.

Front line attacking? That's a Dark Convergence.
Standing back and healing? That's a Dark Convergence.
Up on the wall using siege weapons? You better believe that's a Dark Convergence.
