Yes since it's a test. It's the quickest way to get the amount of data they need.

As long as its really just a test and dont stay this way like it did with cross healing and proc set in the last 2 pvp test phase

I dont do battleground often but when i do i prefer the solo queu

Absolutely hate deathmatch, luckily I barely ever play BG's. Deathmatch is only about overpowered builds and sets, not about tactics and thinking. Which is for me what PvP is about, tactics. That is, whenever I PvP.

Players who treated every BG like deathmatch, were fools ruining other players their rewards. In my opinion the game would be better off without those toxic players around.

PS: If you start forcing players into BG deathmatches for the duration of this test, that would be the worst move ever!
PPS: Aren't there two sets massively broken and overpowered at the moment? Fun test! /s
PPPS: The only reason some players(not all) only want deathmatch games, is because deathmatch games finish quickly and would grant them more rewards.

They need to implement a better solution. Meanwhile, it is better than what we had before.

Its a stepp in the right direction, but in my opinion they should rework it completly. Idk when PvPers got something new last time ? IC ?.

- get rid of the 3-way fights
- intruduce a 1v1 / 2v2 / 4v4 Deathmatch with ranking.
- for ppl who enjoy fighting for objectives create a special mod for them....cant wait to see 10 tanks stack on a flag and nobody dies.....

Don't really care because I don't play them much. All I can say is that the few times I've done battlegrounds (for endeavors), it seems like everyone just runs around trying to kill opponents anyway, regardless of the game mode.

I hope that we in the future have 2 options for queue, Deathmatch and other. Then players who play every match as a deathmatch got the possibility to do actual deathmatch, and players who likes to play objective dont have thos deathmatchers to ruin the game.

This is a very poor way to test. There are some people who prefer non-dm matches but will play bg for the xp and quests. Instead they should have created a dm queue and a non-dm queue and get data on how many are queuing for each one.

Not sure how good of a test it is when you have those who prefer the other options no longer playing BGs, unless that is the test, to see how many remain.

It was the same with no-cp, they could have added a new campaign instead of restricting the one we had

I would be all for it if it was an appropriate way to test this, but it is a horrible design for a study to test if people want dm battleground as separate queue.

I will be happy to know that when I press the "queue" button, I know with absolute certainty what mode I will get and I know that I love getting DM.

However, this isn't the change I asked for. I wanted the CHOICE to queue for DM only. I'd also appreciate the opportunity to queue for random because sometimes the surprise is nice and I do, on occasion, like what happens in an objective based mode.

This is yet another example of something that is so clear, so plainly obvious, yet ZOS shoves a stick in its own wheel spokes and makes it into a divisive "test experiment".

We know that ZOS knows what should be done about BGs just like we know that ZOS knows what should be done about Cyro lag... ZOS just doesn't value it enough to implement those actions.

Another opportunity where ZOS could have gained some love and admiration from both the Objective players and the DM players, but instead chose to squander it. What a disappointment.
