There aren't enough things to buy with event tickets.

I'm sat here with 10/12 tickets and the only thing left to buy is group repair kits. It's been like this for the last few events and wanes my interest in them once I hit 12/12. I'm sure previous events used to have more purchasable options, such as the Indrik pets that were only available for event tickets.

I understand if you're a new or returning player then this won't be the case as you'll have some catching up to do, but if you're a regular and routinely play during events then the Impresario has become rather underwhelming.

I'm in the opposite boat, because I only do enough quests just to get the daily tickets, I don't drop a lot of style pages, so I like having the extra tickets to buy them from the Impressario.

I have posted multiple times about this - and I will be at 10/12 after the next reset - which means that is 8 days with nothing to buy. It is so short-sighted.

Why can’t we have a bunch of past outfit styles to buy (specifically Jade Crown Dragonslayer), or at least furnishings that have been available in the past? I would buy limitless mirrors, pergolas, and Shrines Of The Bay - but instead, I am throwing tickets away on Group Repair Kits I’ll never use.

There used to be furniture plans and stuff iirc. I miss those.

And I agree, if you have all the parts and all the motif pages have dropped, or not interested in either, there are too many tickets. Having more choice of what to spend them on would be nice.

But then you would get the opposite objection - the FOMO players would be upset that they wouldn't be able to get it all.

I'm a big fan of the events where they sell the furnishings and the ones where they sell the grab bags for old style pages and items.

That being said, do you have both an unstable morpholith and all of the fragments for a second one? I've been keeping the parts for an extra one at all times, plus a full load of tickets at the end of each event, just in case something either comes up during the next event and I can't participate, or in case the next event has more items available for sale.

I'm fine with it myself. I only need to the delve quest in Wrothgar each day to replenish my event tickets and can avoid ICS.

I'm kind of torn on this and try to always see the glass as half full. When there is an event where all I buy is group repair kits (like this one), that is good because it means making sure I max my event tickets is not a big deal. When there is an event where there is lots I wanna buy, then that is good because I end up with some desired stuff.

To the thread's point, however, I do agree that it might be nice if the Impresario had more variety. This event, for example, I find rather extreme: I have no interest in the morphomount and the style pages are nothing I want. That leaves group repair kits only.

The issue is that there needs to be a surplus just in case someone is just jumping in on Events.

You can get 26 Tickets this Event, and between 2 Quasigriff fragments and 3 Morpholith fragments, you would need 35 Tickets.

In this scenario, it's a necessary evil for active players to be overstocked on Tickets.

Either the op is uninterested in the Old Orsinium style pages, or they have far better luck than me. I've opened quite a lot of coffers and am still only at 3/10 style pages learned. I can definitely afford to buy a few with tickets but far from all I'm missing.

Must be nice to have already gotten all the new weapons pages. I've done 2 quests every day and gotten 1 of those pages. I don't like them enough to pay gold so that's what I'm spending tickets on.

vMA gives a good number of coffers. I traded a few duplicates for the ones I was missing in zone chat too. Hope your drop rate improves!

Same with me. There's not a lot for people in this event who've been playing for multiple years. At least I'll end the event with a full 12 tickets. I want that magnificent gryphon-thing.

There is another problem - incomplete sets because the end item has been withdrawn.

I have 2/3 of a number of Indriks simply because they were withdrawn and/or replaced by different colors.
I will not be able to complete the current mount because afaik one of the tokens i need has been withdrawn from sale.

I do not understand why the menu is so limited. It can't be that hard to include past content can it?

ZOS probably had fewer things for tickets, as this event involves PvP. And a lower stock of things to buy, makes sure no non-PvPer misses out on anything.

Personally I like this way, as when you miss out on any tickets you will still be able to buy everything you need. Just stock up for the next event if you have too many.

I'm in the exact same situation: 11/12 on NA and 8/12 on EU and I have already bought the saddle mount piece, a pet rock, all 3 pieces for a new one and most of the Old Orsinium pages already. Old Orsinium weapon pages are a common enough drop that you probably won't need to buy them with tickets if you wait to the end of the event. It would have been better to put the older style pages like Maelstrom weapons and Legion Zero armor in the Impresario's inventory as well individually, or at least put them in a RNG container like they did with previous year's motifs from other events.

If you're just after tickets for the current items, namely the mount pieces, it's relatively easy to do. It takes ~10-15 minutes per day, doing 1 IC district quest and 1 Wrothgar WB quest. The mount piece costs 10 tickets, the pet piece just 5, so you only need to spend 10-15 minutes on any 5-8 days of the event to get those. The event lasts 13 days in total. So more casual players won't be affected at all if the older pages would be available at the impresario as well. I for one will just browse guild stores at the end of the event for bargains, but my tickets will be wasted.

From what I've seen the gold box, for the first quest of the day, has indeed a guaranteed drop for a style page from one of the 3 collections available, and Old Orsinium weapons drop way more than the other 2 in general, including the subsequent purple coffers. I got lucky on NA on Thursday and got a Legion 0 Cuirass, which I sold for 750k straight away. It still is 100-150k, while the new pages dropped in price to 10k or less. They will be probably available on guild traders for 2-5k by the end of the event.

Agree! I planned to buy 1 Legion Zero Vigiles page, and 2 Maelstrom pages... I was sure that they will be available via tickets from Impressario, and I am very disappointed

But overall I prefer when there is less interesting stuff for tickets - cause there is no pressure to earn tickets every day.

Especially current event is happening in extremely bad time for me

I really hoped that it would start earlier than 26th... I just got Blackwood on sale some days before the event started, and with only few days of subscription left I was heavily pressured to do certain things not related to the event at all. Luckily I did what I needed in time, but my inventory is still full of surveys, and I could barely enjoy double drops from resources in Craglorn and Wrothgar :'(
I haven't even done a single event trial and arena... It's first time I feel like the event has really bad timing

It'd be nice if you could gift event tickets, even if there was limit because I'm at 12 and don't need anything but my friend needs some tickets as he missed a couple of events. I would happily gift him some from the ones I've earned and it would not mean he plays less just that he doesn't miss out on the mount.

I think there's quite a lot of variation from user to user because of randomness and the size of the loot pool.
Up through Sunday, when I posted, I had opened about 60-70 year 1 coffers, with 4 of the gold year 1 coffers, and only gotten 3 old orsinium pages - only 1 from a gold box. My other gold boxes all dropped purple motif pages from the event. I had gotten a couple of Maelstrom style pages, but I'd already learned all of those in 2019.
Now yesterday, my luck turned quite a bit - in about 15 coffers, I got 3 old orsinium pages - 2 were new to me and one duplicate I'll try to trade for another unknown, but that's such a contrast to my first 4 days.
