Can't reset my password

I'm trying to log in to my game account, but whatever I put in, I get the message "Can't reuse an old password." Firefox is no help; it keeps suggesting the exact same password. (Firefox is version 90.0; I'm on Arch Linux.)
I started a new account just to play on my Xbox, but most likely that will also have problems when I try to activate it. [snip]
