I doubt that since there are an abundance of fishing holes; if the New Life fishing quest doesn't cause any such problems with its very limited number of specially spawned fishing holes in only one small region of Shadowfen, I really doubt an event that would include all fishing holes in the game would be a problem.

Maybe & hope so, I was just addressing a small concern I had with the fishing holes. In certain zones, only certain fish drop, in say ocean fish only drop in rivers and the fishing holes are in a small concentrated areas, same with foul ones.

I was excited for fishing in this game I assumed it was going to have a bit more depth except fishing for achievements and perfect roe.
It would be good if they turned it into a skill line with passives and actually made recipes to match the fish you catch like longfin pasty’s actually using longfin and you can’t catch it till level 10 give people a purpose to level it something along those lines at this stage it’s just boring and the perfect roe ain’t worth the time it takes to fish.

Not really the passives I was talking about.

I just think there needs to be more activity’s that are about making gold without involving combat that you can progress in.

A fishing event could be interesting or as an alternative to obtaining the rewards in an existing event.

While at it...

Fishing could be turned into its own skill line with passives that can be unlocked instead of tying up CP points. There could even be active skills for fighting. A melee range taunt that smacks the enemy with the fishing rod. A ranged taunt that yanks the enemy to the player with the fishing line. A skill that instructs combat pets to attack an enemy by tossing fish at the enemy target (would look best with the Warden's bear i.e. fetch the salmon). A skill that slows the enemy and drains their stamina by tossing fish guts at their feet. And to top off the visuals, a non-restricted skin that replaces the weapons and / or shield in both hands with a fishing pole and bucket. Non-restricted means that it matters not whether the player uses staff, dual wield, bow, two handed or sword and shield. They can have the appearance of a fishing pole and bucket but still use their weapon skills if desired.

I would like to see ZoS implement bulk fillleting as well. Deconstructing armor and such by bulk can be done, so go figure? However, I do know you can minimize eso while it's auto fillleting, I do it all the time. I play in full screen mode, and just press the windows key. Works great for me.
The bulk/fillet issue at least for me is not a big issue, I always have other stuff around the house that needs done.
