But 5k Telvar get you a tri-stat (Hakeijo) glyph that, if you don’t wish to use yourself, sell for... wow, over 30k nowadays!
I miss when they used to give out a total of about 4 crown crates throughout the month. Enough to gat a taste and maybe get lucky but not enough that people who were already going to buy them would stop.
They should do more of that again. It would help them on the predatory PR lootbox argument too.
You do realise that giving free crown crates was more likely a way to get people TO buy them right?
If that was the case why did the stop giving them. Wouldn't they want more ppl to buy them?
Nice rewards. That hat though

I don't play the trader game, so not interested in messing with it. I don't need gold bad enough to bother.
Wow 25k gold - not that long ago we got 100k. Wouldn't wonder if they start taking gold, telvar and AP from us soon.
15. june: -50k gold
25. june: -10k telvar
30. june: - 15k AP
I really wish there was a way to skip a reward. I'd be happy to take the stuff in front of that hat and I'd be happy to take the stuff behind that hat.
I just don't want that ugly thing added to my hat collection as just another item I have to wade through to find the stuff I really want to wear. Sigh.
It is getting to the point where we need a "favorites" for the collections.

Remember when they did that Ppl complained claiming they are trying to get them addicted to loot boxes.
True, however I wonder if it backfired, I don't have much interested in shiny mounts but love the 16 and 40 crown cosmetic.I miss when they used to give out a total of about 4 crown crates throughout the month. They gave away too many free crates that first year, lots of people ended up with piles & piles of Crown Gems, and didn't need to buy any of the followup crate seasons because they could just buy any of the small rewards they might be interested in.
(free crates from login rewards, free crates from "free crate" weeks, free crates for ESO+ members during "free ESO+ week", etc. I think one person who managed to get every free crate from everything said he got like two or three hundred. Or something absurd like that.)

I totally joined ESO at least a year too late.
Rationally, if I am happy otherwise, it should in nowise effect me to hear of people sitting on their piles of free Gems, but I would be very glad to never hear mention of “the year of free crates” ever again.

I think the Twitch crates have basically replaced the Daily Reward ones. They aren't named crates, but you can get piles of Gems from them, I guess. That's the real value in the Crates, not the prizes.

Poor bby netch... didn't deserve to die so young.
Seriously though... Seems like the monthly rewards are just getting... sadder... Like it's less incentive to even log in. Maybe it's just me, but we're lucky to even get a little hat or pet these days, and they're usually not high quality.

As for hat... Oh well, perfectly done, but I love Netches, so I'll never put on this thing.

The Twitch crates aren’t full crates but Ouroborus crates which only contain the lowest tier stuff or around four Gems each. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad for any Gems I can get, but it’s not remotely the same.
