When I first heard of it I thought it would be an annoyance. I never expected to understand it any more than I did the old one. But I was wrong.

I love how it's streamlined and we don't have to jump around through 9 different constellations. And for the first time ever I feel confident enough to veer a little from the CP builds I always followed pretty strictly to customize it more to how I play.

Now I actually look forward to distributing my points instead of dreading it.

As far as performance, I'm just under 800 CP and haven't noticed any difference.

The craft constellation perks. I just wish they were passives and not locked behind things I don’t want.

like the heal on dmg, sta/mag on kill skills. have yet to test the oblivion-splosion one. sounds intriguing. cool solo stuff.

would love the green tree if they'd only made pvp relevant skills active (fall dmg, sneak, run speed and cost). rest passive. as is it's just infuriating.

the graphics are pretty too. but so were the old ones.

love the premise of easy multirole speccing. hatehatehate it for being gated behind thousands of hours of playtime. with 2500 of my already played hours having been nuked.

basically. loads of promise. not much deliverance.

It's not that much different still, but I surely see how it way less frustrating for a new players, you hardly can screw distribution and mostly it doesn't split mag and stam specs which is making some interesting new skill combos viable. Only gripe is green tree, but as far as feedback goes it probably would be changed soonish.

I am okay with most of it but I really wish they had not put in the pathing through the constellations. It really sticks in my craw having to put points into a skill I will never ever use.

I like that it isn't a World of Warcraft temporary RNG power grind.

Other than that, the 'free' passive non-combat run speed was a nice surprise.

I also like the fact I have about 1200 CP so in terms of power I didn't notice too much of a nerf.

Some of the shift to buffing both stamina AND magicka stats at the same time was nice, but we still lack sets that give enough raw stats to make hybrid builds remotely competitive outside solo play.

Maybe it will move in that direction.

I think it's great as there is much more diversity than before and most of the elements are either important, useful or fun to have and there's progression at long last.

Only exception is the green tree which isn't intuitive, logical or fair and needs a complete re-think !

I like that the amount from bonusses you gain is very small, you might as well play without. This means CP does not give an actually major advantage. It is only a few percentages, and some small damage nodes, they do add up eventually though. But the bonusses are minimal.

And I am actually getting CP again!!

PS: Just wondering is the 3600 cap a softcap like 810, or a hardcap above which we can't level anymore?

I only like some of stars from green CP tree. I will not mention old passives which we used to have in previous CP system - they are not new.

New nice things: Mount speed, gold increase, food/drink duration increase, fall damage reduction, increased value of fenced loot, stealth radius.

Red and blue CP trees are uninspiring and sad :/ I haven't even put all my points in either of them (while in green tree I still have things I would like to unlock). There are literally a few interesting new abilities (restore 1500 stamina and magicka on kill, make enemies explode with Oblivion damage on kill etc.), but thanks to stupid 4 slots limit they compete with essential things like getting flat stamina/magicka increase, flat armor increase, damage reduction etc.

If I could use all basic mitigation and damage increase perks, and had 4 slots for new nice things on top of it - it would feel much more rewarding, and I wouldn't be as upset as I am.

This new CP system killed any feeling of progression for me, even though there is no CP cap now.

Plentiful Harvest existed before, but maxed out at a 10% chance of double harvest. Now it maxes out at a 50% chance, so that’s new.

I like the red and blue trees. I like the cp change. People were complaining before the patch overland is to easy now some of that power creep is gone so it should be more challenging right? Seriously, they cut 10 to 20% which is a good thing.

What do you enjoy about it?

It has potential. The skill tree design was an interesting approach, and it has a good foundation to build on. Allowing players to equip a certain number of buffs/enhancements was also a clever way to address balancing issues and power creep. So I have a more favorable opinion of the new system than most of the people I've seen commenting here on this board. If the developers don't allow it to stagnate and update it regularly with new bonuses/skills I believe it could be a significant improvement over the old.

I know that the metas are gonna get their hands on it and ruin it for anyone who wants to play even a single CP off of meta, but, I do feel that there are opportunities here for greater build individualization. Im curious to see what options I have with it when I level high enough to really play with it.

Overall I like it. I like the fishing passives and most of the crafting/harvesting, speed increases, and while I didnt really pay a lot of attention at first, the rez speed is awesome.

I dislike needing to micro-manage parts of the game that really do not have an impact on cooperative or competitive play, like most of the green tree, but its a good start.

I'm in a bit of an odd situation because before the patch I didn't use CP at all. I was constantly hearing that overworld content (which I spend the majority of my time doing) and normal mode dungeons (which is where I spend most of the remaining time) were far, far too easy and boring with CP. So when I got to level 50 and found the difficulty about right for me I decided not to use CP.

Now that it's possible to spend points purely on non-combat things I've started using some. I know there were non-combat stars before, but to unlock them you had to put points in the preceeding combat bonuses. I've got points in the green tree giving me extra gold, more treasure chest drops, faster harvesting and a bunch of other stuff with no impact on combat. :)

I haven't decided yet if I want to use any of the points in the red and blue constellations. While the free respec is available I might try using them and see how much of an impact it has but I suspect I'll continue avoiding them. But at least I can use 1/3 of my CP and get the bonuses which interest me without missing out on enjoyable combat.

(Or maybe I'll finally go over to using weaker gear to balance out the CP boosts, but that seems more complicated to get right, especially as I keep gaining CP.)

    Just below 400, I think about 370 but I can't remember exactly.
