Honestly I thought it was annoying. If I wanna go to the city proper I'll click the wayshrine, otherwise the rosy inn inside is where I want to go. Just seemed like an additional click to me.

While the forums are bickering about some minor things like CP, proc sets and parses, everybody seems to have overlooked the most important addition in this patch. I've seen it before on PTS but I wasn't sure if it can be made reality. Behold!
You can now teleport to the outside of your home! How cool is that?
Joking aside, I really genuinely like this addition and wanted to say something positive.
EDIT:
I realized that the screenshot had some usernames in chat, replaced them just to be safe.
This will come in so handy during New Life!
I port to my Ebonheart apartment for the dancing quest there, and to my Skywatch apartment for the mud balls. Being able to port outside of those homes is a 50% reduction in load screen times!

This, say you ported to an guild hall to do some fast crafting and the house is far from wayshrines as most large and cheap houses is this can cost up to 1000 gold porting to an wayshrine, even porting to your own houses from an wayshine give an gold cost penalty on next port becauseHonestly I thought it was annoying. it saves gold and/or time when you want to get somewhere quickly and are not next to the wayshrine.

Bought snugpod for porting and this has helped doing the 18 cp master writ marathon.
I dislike it personally, I only ever go to my homes to actually go inside so now its an extra click.
Finally one could say. Well done. Take that pessimistic nihilists who are never happy.

The ui designer was just bad on it. Why not another button on side from travel to home
