The overlooked best change in this entire update!

While the forums are bickering about some minor things like CP, proc sets and parses, everybody seems to have overlooked the most important addition in this patch. I've seen it before on PTS but I wasn't sure if it can be made reality. Behold!
Vk6aBo4.png
You can now teleport to the outside of your home! How cool is that?

Joking aside, I really genuinely like this addition and wanted to say something positive. =)

EDIT:
I realized that the screenshot had some usernames in chat, replaced them just to be safe.

Yes, but don't tell anyone. We wouldn't want to have forums dominated by positive threads now, would we?

This will come in so handy during New Life!

I port to my Ebonheart apartment for the dancing quest there, and to my Skywatch apartment for the mud balls. Being able to port outside of those homes is a 50% reduction in load screen times!

Honestly I thought it was annoying. If I wanna go to the city proper I'll click the wayshrine, otherwise the rosy inn inside is where I want to go. Just seemed like an additional click to me.

I agree that it's a very handy addition. I mainly use my houses for travel when I'm exiting a delve after completing it and not wanting to have to wade through the respawns to exit normally. This will speed it up quite a bit.

One less loadscreen for those who use houses for portaling purposes. This is a good thing.

Its free because you are going to your home

the wayshrine costs gold if you don't go from another wayshrine

Plenty of completely free houses near wayshrines. ;)

I’m so happy to have one less load screen. It isn’t so bad on PC, but on console the game freezes during them often. I think I’m more excited about that change coming next week than I am semi-dreading all the skill and CP reallocations I’m going to have to do lol.

If you have the free Sugar Bowl Suite in Rimmen, it ports you directly outside, spitting distance from the wayshrine.

it saves gold and/or time when you want to get somewhere quickly and are not next to the wayshrine.
This, say you ported to an guild hall to do some fast crafting and the house is far from wayshrines as most large and cheap houses is this can cost up to 1000 gold porting to an wayshrine, even porting to your own houses from an wayshine give an gold cost penalty on next port because :(
Bought snugpod for porting and this has helped doing the 18 cp master writ marathon.

Same. Used to be we could teleport quickly without thinking about it, now we have to look at two choices.
I mean I know that sounds trivial when I write it like that, but think about it intuitively.
If you want to be outside your house, it takes like five seconds to exit.

The ui designer was just bad on it. Why not another button on side from travel to home

I absolutely don't like CP rework and armor penalties. There are some nice perks in green CP tree now, but I would rather go back to our old CP system and have no armor penalties :|

But every update - even the worst ones - always bring a few nice features.
For me, one of the best features of this update is ability to preview mount's summoning animation in crown store :) It was not even mentioned in patch notes. I could finally see more of Potentate Aphotic Wolf - since nobody has any video of this mount in action :/
Now I hope that in next update we'll be able to preview the mount's rearing up animation as well (this was actually mentioned in patch notes for the PTS cycle, but it never worked) :o
I dislike it personally, I only ever go to my homes to actually go inside so now its an extra click.

I'm also 50/50 about this change... It's equally useful and annoying - depending on if I need my house or just a port to the zone

This could be very nice solution :)

And I forgot to add one more good thing... Fire-Forged Maul outfit style is amazing <3
